Natlist Directory Publishing - Phoenix Legal Directory ripoff Never published the directory but wants to bill me anyway Seattle Washington
Natlist Directory Publishing AKA Phoenix Legal Directory contacted me a year ago in July 2004 wanting me to participate in their Phoenix Legal Directory as a judgment recovery service listing. I agreed to a listing and they faxed me a layout to review, etc. and promised to defer payment until after the directory was published. Those payments were not to start until April 2005 and would go over 3 months. The directory was never published but they kept calling me about every 3 months wanting me to upgrade my ad. I never upgraded but I also kept asking for a copy of the directory. I never received the copy after 3 requests. I then wrote to them in June 2005 and told them to cancel the contract for the directory ad since they never published the directory. They then called me by phone on 7-5-05 and threatened me with a bill for the entire amount of the ad cost plus interest, etc. I said if they never published the directory that they were a con and a scam and I wanted them to leave me alone. I again requested a copy of the ad. They said it had just been published and my ad was on page 134. I complained that the directory should have been published a year ago and it never was and I have never seen the copy I kept requesting and I have never had a call in response to the ad, if it really ever was done. I said send me a copy so I can see it was actually published. Two days later I received a bill for the entire amount of the ad cost and interest and no copy of the ad. I believe this "company" is a ripoff and they are a con and a scam and want the business to pay for an ad they never receive. They are a RIPOFF!!!
