My name is mike Murphy,I was a employe of Natural blue Pacific Pools LP and have not worked for the owner of that company Harvey Dalton since around december of 2012.I represent myself agaist the untrue comments made by the anderson about myself and several misleading statements they have made in this report.
As Far as know Natural blue Pacific pools lp is no longer around. Many of the statements made by the Andersons have been imbelished to the point of just being false. There attacks upon myself are unfounded.
First of all Chris Michaels was not ever told he could not manage the andersons job he chose not to for the reason that he said he could not deal with that lady anymore. chris is one of the reasons this job became a mess as he calls it in his re-buttle. He was not fired from Natural Blue pacific Pools lp but chose to sneak of in the night without even so much as a note.you Be The judge on character
Back to the accusations
1) I spoke with mr anderson on many occastions during and towards the end of the job.Never did i not return a phone call. They have my personal cell number. now as far as not getting a call back from Natural Blue pacific Pools. Well as far as i know Harvey dalton is the owner and im no longer there.
2) As far as both chris and the andersons saying they were never instructed this is false because i was therewith the professional Certified Instructor that was hire to instruct them for 3 hours going over ever aspect of the job.then i personally handed them all there brochures and warranty infomation in a booklet that they requested. They were so preoccupied with this and that we had to stop and start the instruct several time.(i will provide this instructors name upon request to colaberate my statement) he is a independent.
3) As to the plaster it was done correctly in my opinion and i have seen more than i can count. The problem with it is they did not follow up with the instructions given them as they refused to hire a profesional to brush the pool and maintain it. after plaster as was sugessted but said oh we can do it. Again on the contract it say multiple time that pool company is not responsible for staining and discolorations. Also they were told to stay out of pool until it was full and brushed ! obviously they did not because they complaining of footprints? Hello
Fire bowls were set and quick turn keys were installed because i did it myself. propane was by others.
i personally went and punched out each list they came up with 5 as i remember and each time they refused to pay there final and came up with more or dissapered.so i couldnt find them.
Attacking the integrity of a company is one thing but a personal attack is uncalled for. I was out there at least 5 times to resolve issues and all the waterfeature worked fine.the only complaint that dawn harped on was she couldnt sit in the waterfall grotto and smoke because it splashed her cigarete .
As far as the deck movement this is again according to every pool builders contract it states that decks are not warrantied agaist groud movement, cracking, chipping etc. The simply watered way to much and to soon which in my opinion caused the soil to swell therfore moving the deck.
I would apprieciate the removal of my name from this. I have built more than 1500 pools over the years and to only have two complaints while working with several companies is a pretty awsome track record. Do whats right. Thanks, mike

I was hired at Natural Blue pools to design and sell swimming pools . Natural Blue Pacific L.L.P is owned by Harvey Dalton, Mike Murphy, and Neil Murphy. I did not write checks, purchase materials, or be involved in corporate meetings or have any fiduciary duties. I was an employee that had to listen to his bosses.
Neil Murphy was the construction manager who scheduled and managed construction and srevice. Mike Murphy sold pools. I have never worked with a construction manager who never returned client phone calls or even my phone calls. On several occasions he would disappear for days without showing up to work or even return Mike his partners phone calls.
I have spent 32 years selling and designing and managing swimming pool companies for some of the areas top firms. I've sold and designed pools for many friends and neighbors. One friend referred me to the Andersons in Cumby Tx and one friend referred me to Greg and Paula Hughes in Lucas. The Hughes are actually neighbors of mine. I would have never sold pools to either family if I would have known what Natural Blue Pools was going to do to them.
I was told I would be able to manage the 133,000 Anderson pool if I sold it because Neil did not want to drive to Cumby. I told this to the Andersons and as soon as I dug the pool and drilled the piers I was ordered off the job by Mike Murphy because Neil did not want me wasting gas driving to Cumby.
The project became a mess. A tile wall on the negative edge was changed by Neil and the stone was never sealed and it was a salt pool! Dawn Anderson had designed that feature herself. A leaking plumbing line was gunited into the pool for no reason and leaked sludge into the pool. The pool was filled up and never properly started up with chemicals and the Andersons never were even given instructions on how to work the pool. Marty Anderson would call me for help and I was told by Mike Murphy that we were going out there tomorrow and they would never go. It was awful not being able to help.
The Hughes project had similar issues, no follow up and no communication, poor workmanship. My wife and I had just built a house and if I quit my salaried position at Natural Blue we would not have been able to close on our mortgage and definitely would have lost our house. I was trapped. As soon as we closed I quit the company.
There are other examples but to many to address. I have never seen a company not care about its customers or its product like Natural Blue pools. I had clients that told me they called the construction superintendent 7 times and never got a response via text phone or email. It was a terrible mistake for me to work for them and I am sorry I could not help the people I sold a Natural Blue pool too. Not one of those customers deserved those results.
