Nature's Force, Roger Hill unfinished work, phone calls ignored, quality of work - ripoff contractor Kennesaw Georgia
In May of 2004, I hired Mr. Hill and his company, Nature's Force to build a stone retaining wall in my backyard, backfill, plant sod, trees and build a paver patio along with drainage lines, lantern lights and electrical outlets. Approx. total cost: $20,000
Although the month of June was lost to rain, it is mid Sept. and after numerous phone calls, our project is still not completed, even though final payment was made over a month ago with the promise to finish in a couple of weeks.
Complaints/unfinished work:
1. Red clay stains need to be pressure washed off stone wall.
2. Loose stones need to be fixed and grouted.
3. Smaller trees planted than promised with no price adjustment.
4. Water fountain reservoir seems to be leaking water.
5. Underground electric cables never buried.
6. Owner/Operator never came out to see finished product.
7. Planting methods (trees) questionable. Hole size same as root ball, synthetic burlap and wire crate not cut away, no upstart or soil additive used.
My project always seemed to be last on Mr. Hill's list, after his commercial work. While he appears very professional and trustworthy, this project was very frustrating as we were made to feel like a nuisance,instead of the customer. If you like calling and begging to get work done, feeling like you are about to get ripped off at any moment, and a job that takes 3 times longer than it should, then this is the contractor for you!
