Grandparents should not have to be the ones who deliver the sad news of an impending ripoff to their grandchildren. After attending football camp quickly there was a call from a "Recruiter" that added excitement. That was followed by another arranged phone call with internet access to discuss in detail. After that call is when I received the call that we need to buy this recruiting program. I found that extremely strange. I know several students that have signed sports scholarships that never bought programs. I immediately googled to see if this offer was a scam or ripoff. I hope it has paid off for some because it appears it doesn't payoff for everyone and we must remember that everybody does not file a report.
i think it is so wrong for the football camps/schools//sports organizations to sell the lists of names and contact information of the attendees. Our family chooses to deal with disappointment now rather than after dumping $2400 down a dark hole. The hopeful students need to be made aware that a very small percentage receive athletic scholarships.
