I researched Negri Electronics only after having a problem with Mr. Ryan Negri.

Sadly, they are indeed the scammers they are portrayed here and in other forums and BBB complaints.

In my situation, I placed an order on his website for over $700 on a new phone. The website clearly and UNCONDITIONALLY stated that there was FREE shipping on all orders over $499, thereby qualifying me for the offer.

I used a $25 online coupon which was perfectly legit since the free shipping offer did not exclude it ANYWHERE on his site. Later when I reviewed my bill, there was a FedEx shipping charge.

I contacted Negri THREE times and no response. On the fourth try, I got a response from Ryan Negri stating that I was not eligible because I had used a coupon. I responded by stating that there was no such condition on his website and that I wanted my shipping refunded.

Within minutes of my email, Ryan Negri responds telling me that if I refuse the shipment I will be charged a refusal fee of $25 and that I would not receive a refund for my shipping charges. In turn, I responded that it was not acceptable and that if I did not receive my shipping refund I would be filing a credit card company chargeback.

Guess what... here's HIS rude and thoughtful reply:
Thank you for your honest email and your attempt to threaten us here and Negri Electronics. It's great to have such loyal and honest customers who are put such high values on morals. Its unfortunate that you placed the order and paid for shipping. Paying for the item at the price stated is actually a legal binding contract, and you may fight this with your card company or with us. I have no intention of refunding your shipping charges, nor do I have any intention of assisting you in your order in any way. You have gone above and beyond as far as your actions and no customer will EVER extort me or my company and get away with it. Please refuse the order and you will be refunded according to our store policies. I do not have to elaborate how absurd your request is when using a $25 off coupon, but you get the just of it. Do what you wish. Since the item is discontinued we will have no issues reselling this. Again, have a great night.
I suppose in Ryan Negri's world, a customer asking for a refund on shipping charges is considered "Extortion". In the common world, it is known as getting what you paid for. I paid for a product in good faith and under the falsely advertised offer of FREE shipping. If that was not his intent, then he should not advertise it as such. Here's his ad which he's now removed:

Anyone even thinking about doing business with Negri Electronics or Ryan Negri should consider his lengthy public record of scams and exploited customers. Add me to that list. Unlike most that have been successfully screwed by him, I WILL NOT. Mr. Negri has never learned that every once in a while in life you run into that one individual you should never attempt to screw. I happen to be one of those persons, I despise cheats, scammers, and common thugs.

There's GOOD NEWS though!  It took my Credit Card company less than 8 hours to process my chargeback complaint against Negri Electronics.  Evidently the Credit Card company found the evidence so overwhelmingly convincing that it did not merit any delays.  I encourage all that have been wrongfully charged by Negri Electronics or have unresolved quality and/or return issues with Ryan Negri and Negri Electronics to promptly file their complaints.  Be sure to save all transcripts, receipts, or web site snapshots as evidence and submit them with your complaints.

Above all, be persistent and don't take NO for an answers, from Negri or the Credit Card company.  As consumers, we have rights that can only be preserved when we fight for them and not just roll-over in futile acceptance.

Complaints with other consumer protection sites, BBB, as well as Federal and State agencies will follow.  Until such time that Ryan Negri and Negri Electronics atones for their deeds with a sincere apology and change their reprehensible business practices, threads like these will continue to inform the public and serve as a red flag to potential Negri victims.

Hi Ryan or Minion #66, whoever you are, you are so transparent.  A simple Google search and in-depth review of the Negri Skeletons will reveal the Costa Mesa Police investigation as well a  beautiful satellite photo of the Negri "business" apartment (also known as his "mega warehouse".  Interestingly enough, Mr. Thug (Ryan Negri) is also well known in his Wisconsin as having numerous police complaints and court ordered restraining orders for his stalking of unhappy customers.

Ryan, I know who you are, you're just a punk-assed thug that prides himself in threatening customers when they disagree with you and point out your thieving ways.  With the countless lawyers and former business deals gone sour that are after your a*s, one would hope you'd clean up your act.

It must take an awful lot of time for you to spend scouring the internet for "Negri is a Crook" posts just so you can put in a fake professional rebuttal.  Fortunately, those of us that know the real Ryan Negri, we're not fooled.  Some day soon, the law and justice will catch up to you and you will cry your eyeballs out like the little whinny b***h you really are.  I can't wait til Bubba makes you his cell-b***h in San Quentin.

I suggest you shut the F!up, accept that you're the thug you really are and then consider mending your ways.  Now, if you're interested in harassing me like you do other customers, rest assured I am not like any of your other victims, I actually bite and do so for keeps!

Hello, and thank you for your message. It seems your single unsatisfying transaction wish us has caused you grief and heartache. Enough so to attempt to tarnish a good, hard working companies name, and personally attack the owner of said company.

From a customers perspective you might have a few people fooled. However, your user name for your false reviews stated "no negri for me", this should be evidence enough that your intention and sole purpose was to attempt to tarnish the character of our owner, and do your best to overeggagerate your situation and attempt to warn others as if ethical customers would ever treat us this way.

We do not have any "minions log in under pseudo names" to fill out reviews. We have a customer base of over 50,000. Some of which would gladly leave a review on their own, without any coaxing or bribing on our part. A "fly by night scammer" is also inaccurate. Being in business for 6 years now we have outgrown the "fly-by-night" reputation 5 years ago. As to your accusation of being a thug, this is a personal opinion that you have after never having any personal contact with the owner, a Caucasian male from a small town in northern Wisconsin. Our offices are located in Costa Mesa, CA. A 10 office dual suite with conference room and 2 restrooms - you are welcome to visit anytime. Our warehouse, which is not "massive" is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. A 5500 sq foot facility with multiple offices, conference room and break room for our staff. Yous assumption that we work from an "apartment" is again - incorrect. We were not investigated by any police department, and your accusations in that regard are also false.  We do not possess any devices with "fake IMEIS" or devices that are "stolen". 

Your accusations and assumptions are incorrect and you can discontinue wasting your time posting against us on these blogs. You do not have a reason to continue with this. If you are holding a grudge for something almost three years old you do need to come to grips with it and move on or call our customer care department and see what can be done so that you are able to proceed with your life.

Your messages are hurtful, your accusations are incorrect and unwarranted. It's obvious to us and to our customers that you are here to hurt people, companies and reputations. You have no other purpose than that - however if we are wrong you can simply email or call us - no one is hiding from you nor any other customer that appears to have an issue. We deal with everything with honesty and integrity, as always. Your case is over 2.5 years old and we do not have record of your unhappiness, but if you'd like to share it we can forward your email to the right party. Remember me?  I'm the guy you originally scammed.  I see that you're still up to your old tricks, screwing everybody out of their hard-earned cash.  Honest business people do not need to have minions log in under pseudo names and false identities so as to post raving wonderful reviews of your services.  We know the truth and the truth is you're a fly-by-night scammer and a thug.

Stil operating out of that Los Angeles apartment with the massive imaginary mega warehouses?  How did that Costa Mesa Police Department investigation turn out?  Remember, the one about fake IMEI's and stolen cell phones?

The Internet is full of your scams and attempts to cheat people.  What is really amusing is watching you act like a cat in a litterbox covering your crap in a manic frenzy.  No amount of covering can mask the stench of your misdeeds and fraudulent antics.

While all reviews, positive or negative, are encouraged, we must ask that only honest reviews are posted. In this review we have found many instances of exaggeration and fallacies. While your experience looks less than
ideal on paper, its best that we clear up a few things so that past and potential customers can understand the situation better and possibly form a better opinion of our services.

The order was placed for a White galaxy Tab 6800, however there was no stock of this unit as it was on Pre-Order on the site. The customer was kindly contacted and asked if he would like to pay the difference
in price of the Black/Grey unit, which was an additional $19. Since the unit was in stock at the time the customer did agree and the item was shipped.

The unit did arrive on 2/13/2012 at 10:37AM EST. We were contacted on 2/20 with a complaint stating that the sim card reader was no longer operational. We replied back with the normal RMA form and requested that
the customer fill out the form and return the device as soon as possible so that we can assist in the repair, exchange or refund.  The customer mailed in the unit arrived at our facility on 3/8, more than 30 days from when it was originally shipped. The customer requested a refund.  We do have a 25 return policy on devices, and could have provided an extension, however the device was not faulty. In fact, the device was in horrible condition with
multiple scratches and literally gouges near the sim card slot. A refund was not a viable option at this time due to the condition of the unit. The sim card slot was missing 2 pins 2 others were bent upright (Images available upon
request). The reader was not able to read sim cards. We concluded that the sim slot was tampered with prior to the return, but wanted to request the expertise of Samsungs authorized repair facility to concur with our findings.

After the initial evaluation we sent the device to our Authorized Samsung Repair facility. They were also in agreement that the device was tampered with and that this was not a case of normal wear and tear as
there were multiple contusions on the exterior of the device, as well as gashes around the SIM card slot, and multiple missing and bent pins. An email was sent to the customer on 3/26 with the findings and the plan to send the unit to Samsung.

The unit was fully repaired by our authorized Samsung repair facility with a $45 charge since the issues with the device could not be covered under the warranty with Samsung.  The customer was contacted and explained the
charge and why it was assessed and asked if he would be willing to pay for this, or return the device minus a generous discount in the restock fee due to the condition. The customer explained that the he would like to pay for the repair charge, plus $10 shipping and we would return his device for him. The customer then paid for the charge and the device was shipped back to him same day. The device was signed for on May 16th at 11:16am via FedEx 137802760039138 Over 3 months later the customer has returned to various blogs and forums to leave a negative review, while in this entire time we were in contact with the customer and there was no negativity or disappointment once it was made known that the device was damaged and not faulty.

We encourage reviews, but please be honest and accurate so that others can make their own assessment of the company. We do our best to be the leader in the high end unlocked wireless and are always operating on the basis
of honesty and integrity.

"BEWARE Stay Away! A Timeline of Disappointment:

Jan 30th: Initial order of amazing new device the Galaxy Tab 7.7! (Samsung P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 16GB WiFi & 3G (Unlocked) (White); Cart Discount 619.50)

Feb 7th: Call to follow up on why order has not shipped yet. (asked to pay extra to finally get the item shipped in a different color as there was an error in the system that allowed an "in stock" item to sell out). Charged an additional $19.00 to finally get the item shipped in a different color (this color was actually the one I wanted but was listed as out of stock on the website).

Feb 16th Item FINALLY Arrives however the SIM Card is not working. I call them and they tell me I need to setup an RMA online.

Feb 27th: Initial RMA setup for the device. RMA#1000XXX

March 25th: Followup email to find out status of RMA as its been almost one month with no response from Negri.

March 26th: Told item needs to be repaired before RMA can process.

April 30th: Follow up amd told that the item is still being repaired.

May 10th: Am asked to pay another additional fee of $55.00 to get the item fixed.

May 28th: Item is returned back to me instead of being RMA. Four months after the initial order...

This is no way to run a business."

Leaving in a remote place makes less retailers agreeing for shipments and selling. Like me. I live in a remote location and there's no cheap store for buying mobiles and other electronics here. I asked Negri Customer Support regarding my remoteness and they replied immediately that "NO PROBLEM". Negri Electronics supplies good in more than 192 countries via Google Checkout and Fedex. Thanks Fedex was there at my place and I rec'd my order placed on Negri Electronics website in 30hours.

I ended up exchanging the Palm Centro, but the guys at Negri made the process easy and fast and they were very professional about it. These are good guys! I like dealing with them because they dont try to get over on you. Will definately shop from them again and will continue to refer my friends.

I think this complaint should be closed immediately as the complaint starter has got no valid proofs of purchase or not even any proof of receipts. For me, I ordered my phone on this Saturday and got the UPS notice by Thursday. I had to pay customs, import rights, taxes and whatnot, but that's the way it is when buying things from outside Colombia. All in all, a good experience. Would buy again at Negri Electronics.

Negri Electronics quickly responds to inquires, which is the main reason I didn't get nervous about a long preorder period and cancel my order. Great selection at great prices. First I must just say, all companies have complaints, there is no one company out there who has 100% customer satisfaction. How they deal with issues presented to them is what defines them as a company.

With that being said, I have had a frustrating situation with Negri. I ordered a phone last week and received an email that it has not been sent. There was a so called discrepancy between my credit card, and my order. When I called the company they informed me that the phone I had ordered is being discontinued, and they have non in stock. I was quick to say give me a full refund. The gentleman on the phone in their customer service department asked me the magical question.. What can we do to keep you as a customer. I told them something outrageous. Give me a $600 for the price of the one I bought at $300. He said he would talk to his department manager and call me back. Within 15 minutes he called me back. He was able to track down the phone I had ordered. He upgraded me to same day air, my phone estimated delivery date is less then 24 hours then having the issue.

As long as my phone comes in good condition, and promptly then BRAVO, great customer service. I will certainly use this company again.

Ladies and Gentleman, Current Customers and Future Customers,

There seems to be confusion when it comes to defining a scam and a disagreement. So this post will be able to assist you in telling the two terms apart.

A scam is when someone, whether it be a company or an individual knowingly does something to harm you, in exchange for money. There are many forms of scams, such as offering products that are replicas and offering them as authentic, selling used models as new, or simply collecting money with no intention of delivering a product at all.

Negri Electronics has been on the victimized side of each one of the above examples, and has NEVER been the ones leading the scam. Never will you find stories about Negri Electronics offering product and not delivering. On occasion you will see an unhappy customer posting a review such as the one reiterated repeatedly all over the web regarding a coupon code negating a Free Shipping Special. Of course when people are angry they will post what comes to their mind, while the customer felt he was ripped off for $10, after using a $25 coupon it seems he came out ahead $15 and still wanted moreso he began to post on any website he could find claiming we ripped him off.

Rarely do we entertain these reports or these complaints, but lately it has been blown out of proportion with more and more people referencing this one instance. The instance where our site was automated not to offer the free shipping in combination with a coupon. Of course our site is our responsibility, however if the customer did not want to pay the shipping, the order should not have been completed. Every customer sees the total due before proceeding to pay. In this instance the customer did see the $10 shipping charge and proceeded to pay for the shipping on his credit card, clicking the complete my order button. Once the item was shipped, he contacted us to ask for a refund. Unfortunately once the order ships we are unable to adjust the orders total.

Regardless, the posts have been made the damage has been done and the customer now has a difficult decision to make; who to purchase their next high end wireless device from. The answer still remains Negri Electronics. There seems to be confusion when it comes to defining a scam and a disagreement. So this post will be able to assist you in telling the two terms apart.

A scam is when someone, whether it be a company or an individual knowingly does something to harm you, in exchange for money. There are many forms of scams, such as offering products that are replicas and offering them as authentic, selling used models as new, or simply collecting money with no intention of delivering a product at all.

Negri Electronics has been on the victimized side of each one of the above examples, and has NEVER been the ones leading the scam. Never will you find stories about Negri Electronics offering product and not delivering. On occasion you will see an unhappy customer posting a review such as the one reiterated repeatedly all over the web regarding a coupon code negating a Free Shipping Special. Of course when people are angry they will post what comes to their mind, while the customer felt he was ripped off for $10, after using a $25 coupon it seems he came out ahead $15 and still wanted moreso he began to post on any website he could find claiming we ripped him off.

Rarely do we entertain these reports or these complaints, but lately it has been blown out of proportion with more and more people referencing this one instance. The instance where our site was automated not to offer the free shipping in combination with a coupon. Of course our site is our responsibility, however if the customer did not want to pay the shipping, the order should not have been completed. Every customer sees the total due before proceeding to pay. In this instance the customer did see the $10 shipping charge and proceeded to pay for the shipping on his credit card, clicking the complete my order button. Once the item was shipped, he contacted us to ask for a refund. Unfortunately once the order ships we are unable to adjust the orders total.

Regardless, the posts have been made the damage has been done and the customer now has a difficult decision to make; who to purchase their next high end wireless device from.
