Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
First my responsibility. I should of done my homework and checked this site for reports of which there are many. They did the same thing to us that they did to others. This is the way they operate. We called for a quote, they asked my wife some general questions about the size of our house and contents then said the best way would be to send 3,men and a truck @ $104.00 per hour with an estimated time of 8 hours plus 2 hours travel time.

Based on our previous moving experience this seemed about right so we expected about $1000.00- $1100.00 tops. I requested there quote in writing and all I got was a polite letter on company letterhead stating what had been discussed on the phone. Nothing contractual with terms etched in stone. This should have been my 1st clue, however where I come from people are taken at face value.

When they showed up the day of the move they now presented this "contract" with all this small print and an "overtime" charge of $156.00 per hour if we exceeded 7.5 hours that was not on the "letterhead"and a discription of services with an outrageous cost for things like paper bundles ($50.00 ea.) Dish packs ($29.00 ea.) now we had boxed everything ourselves all we needed to do was load and go. I told the foreman of the crew that we would purchase 2 cartons for two mirrors @ and that was all we needed. Then the nightmare began.

These guys proceeded to shrink wrap all our furniture in the slowest manor possible as time dragged on I said "Why can't we just move it in the truck then cover it with blankets?" and I was told they would not be responsible for it if they did. ( We had just moved the same or less belongings in 2004 and it took only 4 hours to load the truck) This process dragged on all day and if we didn't keep an eye on them they would be using unauthorized boxes @ $29.00 each. At 5 PM they were finally ready to go.

When we got to our destination only an hour away we began to unload

I helped these people who I was paying and @ 10:00 PM there was only our Plasma TV left, when I went to move it I was told it was "Company Policy" that bthey keep something on the truck until the bill is paid. So I meet with the foreman in my new kitchen and he presents a bill for $2600.00

They charged me $900.00 for the mandatory shrink wrap $300.00 worth of unauthorized boxes and of course 6 hours of overtime because they spent all day wrapping my furniture until it looked like a mummy.

While my TV was being held hostage and I was being extorted out of $1500.00 my wife was crying and she just wanted these "ganger's" out of her house. I could here the foreman talking to his boss on the phone, he was asking if "something was still on the truck" and the foreman assured him he had. There was nothing for me to do but pay the ransom. These people are predators who prey on vulnerable people during stressfull times and should be shut down and prosecuted. I filed a complait right away with Attorney General

I have not heard anything.
