Net One International is a front for another Company called FarrahTel International, and both operate a pre-paid International calling scheme through telemarketers located in Egypt. They use telephone numbers in the USA, mostly in Illinois (708-622-9221),  Florida (315-294-9444), as well as Michigan.

They induce unsuspecting customers of one to purchase pre-paid minutes from the second and swindle the customers by confiscating the funds paid for call minutes (if they do not make calls for six months or more, according to their claim.) That time limit is never, ever, mentioned in their solicitations for money/service. FarrahTel resorts to constantly bombarding its customer base with solicitations for more funds, and if the customer balks, they retaliate by jacking up the rates charged per minute for the phone calls placed and claim that it is within their right to change the rates at any time and without notice.

FarrahTel no longer has a website. Instead it is posting "site under development message" so that they avoid posting their business address or any of the information they promised their customers when selling them the service, like detailed records of calls made, minutes and total dollars charged for the call, or per minute rate to any country. It takes repeated phone calls and e-mails for them to provide that information for any given period, if at all. I have had an e-mail without any response since the beginning of August. It started after I received a very disturbing voice recording about seriously eroded account balance that is totally inconsistent with the calls I know to have made. It also had all the makings of the beginning of the attempt to confiscate my balance under the guise of inactivity.

Besides, All their calls to a country like Egypt appear to be routed through a cell phone number in that country which is of exceedingly poor quality and makes it almost impossible to carry on any conversation. Their customer service personnel keep claiming that they have referred the problem to their technical dept. and will be resolved within 15 minutes to 3 hours maximum and that someone will call when that takes place. Naturally, those promised calls never materialize and the service turns out to be totally useless.

My experience with FarrahTel has been nothing short of total disappointment and believe that the Attorney General of Florida should force them to disgorge any unused balance owed to all their customers and that they'd be put out of their misery and completely out of business to protect the American Consumers. I'll be happy to turn over the complete string of all the e-mail exchanges with them which show my total frustration with their unscrupulous business practices.
