On 10/31/02, I contacted a company by the name of Net Visibility to market my business website. Net Visibility is supposed to be a marketing firm that promotes and drive traffic to people's businesses.

I heard of Net Visibility through the company that I designed my website from, Internet Treasure Chest. They referred me to Net Visibility in hope of attracting potential customer's to my website. Apparently, Internet Treasure Chest has a long list of so called "marketers" to sell people, and get a commission of that sale through their affiliate program.

I was cheated by PMI Direct (aka Storesonline), Net Visibility, and EMS Traffic. All of these companies are affiliated with Internet Treasure Chest.

The sales representative from Net Visibility that I dealt with referred to himself as "Jason". He pawned me a sales pitch as to if I was able to invest $500.00 in their marketing package, I would receive 200 visitors per day, until it reached a grand total of 10,000 visitors over all.

Within a month or two, no sales were gained, and the number of visitors were not 200 per day as promised. Needless to say, he also promised that those 200 visitors would also be all sales.

I decided to then call Jason back, and he was unavailable. A lady who answered the phone, and refused to give me her name, said they were in the process of moving into another office.

It was not until later did Jason call me, and apologized that the campaign was not working. He came up with excuses after excuse. First, he said they were moving, then he was also out a few days because he was off due to an illness.

However, he did say he would rectify the situation by giving me an addition 2,500 grand total visitors to the campaign, and he asked me to give him another chance. I agreed to do so. However, in another month, it was the same thing over and over again.

This time, when I got ahold of Jason, I demanded my money back. Jason refused to do so. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, and she said "no refunds". Then, I asked to speak with a manager, and they all sided in with Jason, as if he did nothing wrong.

Do not give your business to Net Visibility. They will only promise you the world, take your money, and do nothing in return.

Unbelievable! the reason why we had to file bankruptcy?

You actually believe that I am stating that your company is solely responsible for the reason why we had to file bankruptcy? No, that is not it at all. You were part of reason, but not the entire reason. And, the customers that were sent to our website by your company complained to us, stating that they were being directed to our site who were trying to reach another website. That there is a form of spam, if I am not mistaken. Like I said before the marketing investments of, Net Visibility, PMI Direct (aka Storesonline), EMS Traffic combined, with no sales was what led to bankruptcy. In other words, negative cash flow. As far as the no guarantee of sales, I know what I heard from the conference calls we had at that time.

Web Traffic - Doesn't always convert to sales...

Jeff & Sean, While I do not remember the specifics of your account - I do recall the name. I was unable to locate the paperwork regarding your account (since our last communication has been nearly two years ago) so I do have specifics in front of me. What I do know is accusing my company for your bankruptcy is not only ludicrous - it is borderline slanderous. It us unfathomable to me that a $500 - $1000 marketing purchase could cause a company to go bankrupt? To add further insult - we delivered more than contracted amounts of traffic to EVERY client that purchased from us. We explained, in detail that we are not responsible for sales or conversions once delivered. We can deliver visitors to a site - we can not make them open their wallets and buy something from a site. That responsibility lies in the site owners hands. While I am sorry to hear you business has closed. I don't appreciate the false accusations. Best of luck to you in future endeavors. Sincerely, Senior Vice President NetVisibility, Inc.

Since you seem to forget who I am, perhaps you would remember the Jeff, the General Manager and partner of the online business through ITC called Working For You? That was the business name that you were going to help market for us. Both me and Jeff emailed you several times letting you know that visitors were not coming to our website. In addition to that, we have had more than one conference call regarding this issue. Due to no sales and as the finance partner, I had no other choice but to file bankruptcy. And on terms of the bankruptcy, the business had to be taken down. The URL was: [DELETED] As far as smoothing things over, I really do not know what else there is to talk about, since the damage has already been long done.

I would like to start by stating customer service and user experience are the cornerstones that NetVisibility has built our business on - that said I was shocked to read the headline on this article. I'd like to clarify a couple points: NetVisibility had been in talks with Internet Treasure Chest for over 1 year to provide visitors for their clients that had purchased an e-commerce website via their info-mercial. NetVis approached ITC with the idea as most of their clients were not getting any sales largely in part - they had no visitors or traffic. As negotiations went on, it became apparent that ITC and NetVis were not going to be able to come to an agreement on the terms of the deal and broke off negotiations. Therefore, we were never given a single client from ITC. I am not familiar with who EMS or PMI Direct - we do not have a relationship past or present. Our organization has not been in the business of selling visitors for several years now. We have several clients that direct their traffic to us, which we will monetize for them via PPC search engines. Our primary property is www.Searchport.com - allowing people to search for they want. I am not familiar with "Sean" or any client from ITC, but would be happy to speak with them in regards to the situation and how we can cure an obviously open wound. Sincerely, Senior Vice President NetVisibility, Inc.
