I had a ccount with netspend, and their bank is Meta Bank,  I decided to open up a checking account with another bank, on February 18, 2017, netspend put a hold on my acct for 51.00, which I wanted it transfered to my new bank accout, on the same day, netspend deducted said $51.00 from my account, giving me my available balace after the deduction. I called my new bank and asked them if they received said 51.00 from netspend, they did not! I called netspend and they stated that said 51.00 was refunded to my accout on February 25, which it was not. I debated with netspend four or five times, and told them I was going to turn them in, to BBB, Consumer protection and the attorney general. Everytime I called them, it was a different customer service agent. They kept saying that they refunded my monies, and I kept telling them that they did not. So this is what they did, they deleted from my online accout February 18 the hold and the deduction, little did they realize I received texts on my phone and locked all their texts in from February , these people think they are slick and they are not. I have to laugh, because their customer service representatives are not too bright. I never received a refund, and my new bank did not receive the deposit of 51.00. I have on my phone every text that they sent to me, and I got so frustrated with them, I closed my account, they sent me a text stating that they can not discuss my account with me, because I closed it! Well as far as I am concerned my acct is still open, they owe me 51.00, and their is a crook among them!

 

I am suggesting to anyone that has a netspend accout, check it at all times, and if you find any discrepancies, close your acct and report them!
