NetZERO. This should have been the first clue. And, I have not seen REAL high speed service from Netzero. Only "accelerated" dial up. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. This explains having to pay for the "tech support". Most of these people don't actually know anything, they just read from a book. You never mentioned exactly what type of service you have or what the problem you had was. This would have been helpful. Also, WINDOWS has a good connections wizard that will troubleshoot most connections problems. I've never seen anything anyone could do to manually slow down a connection. Usually just adware and spyware will do it.
