Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

They claimed it was fixed but when they brought it back, it was still broken. Since then they have disappeared with our laser for 3 months, not returning our calls or emails. The owners Mike Knight and John Haeberlen told us there was new error codes that we had never heard of. Mike then informed us after months of not hearing from them, that they sent to laser to California(which was not in the contract) We then asked for our laser to be returned to NY. MIke Knight refused to return our laser unless we pay him for the repairs which were never done. This is preventing us from seeing our patients and getting the laser repaired from another manufacturer. We are losing money and patients weekly. We want to warn consumers of this company and that they are defrauding customers.

We entered into a contract with this company. They were supposed to fix our laser in a short amount of time, when they returned our machine... it was still broken! They then took the machine a second time and told us they would fix it right away. They then disappeared and we didnt hear from them for about 3 months, despite our efforts to call and email them. When the owners Mike Knight and John Haeberlen finally contacted us, we were told that the laser was sent out to California(which was never in the contract that it was to leave their premises) We feel at this time and from what transpired that they damaged our laser beyond repair. They failed to service it but require payment in spite of their failure. We feel they de-fraud customers in taking equipment to resale or reuse it to their own benefit. They truly scam consumers . Be aware!

Response to a Fabricated Story from Roxana Kerns of Orchid Aesthetics

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, August 31, 2016

Dr. Roxana Kerns of Orchid Aesthetics created this fabricated story which she threatened to spread on the internet if we did not return her IPL system (which we had repaired) and let her pay what she wanted to pay us for the repair.  That amount was only a fraction of what she owed us.  When we told her that she needed to pay her bill for repairing the system (like everyone else does) she did in fact spread this false account of what happened on numerous websites and said that she would continue unless we gave in to her request of her paying us next to nothing for the work that we did.  We would not do that and subsequently had to go to court where she was finally made to pay us for our services.

We would be glad to provide anyone who wishes a copy of the court documents which will clearly show the absurdity of this situation and dishonesty of Dr. Kerns.  We repaired her system once and she used it for a month or so.  After that time, a totally unrelated problem occurred which we also attempted to repair for her.  The second fix wasn't as easy as the first fix and it was explained to her that it would take time to fix.  We even went as far as to rent her a loaner system at a very reduced rate so she could continue to treat patients.  She then charged back and cancelled her credit card payment for her first repair and would not pay for our loaner system while she continued to use it regularly to treat patients collecting revenue.  We asked many times for her to return our system that she was not paying for and she refused.  Once her system was repaired we presented her with a bill for both separate repairs as well as for the rental system that she used for months.  She continued to demand that we return her system without paying anything which of course we declined to do.  Unfortunately, we ultimately needed to go to the NY Supreme court where we were finally awarded $10,500 and the return of our equipment.

Dr. Kerns is a very dishonest and untruthful person and my advice to anyone who finds them self considering to do business with her is to save yourself from having to go through something like this, turn around and find a more reputable person to do business with.
