Attempted to purchase Home Stereo Receiver after it took AMEX 4 hours to approve me. No ability to use card on site until the card was sent. Customer Services did not want to hear that their site was broken and stated they have "No Control" on the functionality of the checkout and AMEX doesn't place orders for them when it never stated I was being sent to another site. The New Egg site just took my information and than it took 1 minute or so to display a message that they will be in contact. No further instruction or warning was given stating that I would have no ability to receive todays prices at all until I had the card in hand.

I explainted to Dwight the Manager @ New Egg that all of their competition that offers credit card financing and monthly statement discounts allow the merchant to provide a smooth checkout procedure and New Egg was being very arrogant as well as close minded. I also let them know that this process is most likely creating alot of upset customers and she did not seem to show any concern even when I mentioned RipoffReport.com had a quite a few complaints about checkout "Bait and Switch" pricing issues. A HUGE THUMBS DOWN TO CUSTOMER "NO SERVICE" Department at NewEgg.com
