The subcontractor New point construction Inc. hire me to do the basement plumbing job for 42 Meadowcliffe Dr, toronto, ont, a 14000Sf house near the lake ontario. a job given to license plumber would have charged between $12-15000.
The subcontractor called numerous times before and asked me for help, discribed his problem that is not getting paid by Pegah construction Ltd and new point has already spended over $22.000 towards the project.
New point tells and I agreed to do the job for $3000 for two day, two laborers and materials it needs.
The first day of the job the materials finished and I asked for more materails he said "you buy them I pay for them".
The second day I had no laborer , on the third day when I had two laborers on my own and bought some materials I relized that the job scope is not 8 stacks, rather it is 22 drainage points and it is not two days job it is over two weeks job by the time is all done. so I quite
There were lots of fights during this job that the site superviser was awared, problems being getting hold of the money, new point workers removed out of the assignment given by me.
On third day i quite, we renogocaited our contract to $8000, we agreed that when this was finished he will bring a license plumber to inspect the job to make it ready for the city inspection.
After signing the new contract at the end of the day New Point had to pay for material spended towards the project,
did not matter how many times i called New Point did not reply.
Fourth day, I came and finished all my runs, glue some and gave New Point an invoice.
New Point than went and got a plumber to take over our job and New Point, Pegah Construcation Ltd ( General contractor) Dr, Chan, William Wai-Leung the property owner refusing to pay for anything.
We are am out of 4 days work, 3 days of that we had two of our own workers and over $2000 materials.

our company has not received any payment from New points nor Pegah and had registered lien on Mr. Chan property. and served all of the parties with statement of Claim.

the General contractor Pegah construction Ltd is offering to pay our invoice, providing that we apologize for going after our invoice. We apologize to pegah to go to difficulities to get our invoice paid.
