New Remotes Inc Charlie Waters; Electronic Adventure; False Advertiser! Did nor receive 'genuine toshiba' but a china imitation Bait and Switch company. Tampa Florida
Ordered a 'genuine factory new toshiba' remote control. Web page stated no subsitutions or reconditioned remote. No attempt to contact me and, instead, sent me a cheap chinese knock-off (for same price). I believe this is their normal practice since included was a faded photocopy of a letter stating my remote was no longer available and to please try for a few days. From other comments on the internet, must be their normal way of doing business. Have no intention of sending what is advertised. Pay price of toshiba, get cheap knock-off.

Remote I received is labeled a Toshiba Remote (had a sticker over brand name). But, was not the remote I ordered and I was never notified of the subsitution. Because it was much smaller and less substantial than original and only thing I saw was 'made in China', I believed it was a knock-off. I should have looked at it better.
