1. Primary Classification: Service Issues 2. Secondary Classification: Delivery Issues 3. Problem: Recently we've purchased a pre-paid credit card that was shown/advertised as being able to use hassle free with funds available to me in 1hr or less. after many attempts to register the card and having multiple ( 30 mins of scrpt errors and bad loops in program) problems doing so it finaly allowed the transaction but would NOT release the funds so we waited. After 1 hour and 15 mins we decided to inquire as to why this service was having problems. We've turned up many complaints on this company and many other names/titles this company uses. Other names/titles include..Websecret.com,Next Estate Communications,GreenDot financial network,Compucredit Corp., all using the parent name of Compucredit and/or Columbus Bank and Trust. We've found many fraudulent advertising/credit practices that many people have posted information about through the local newspaper in the companys main office home town, online consumer watchdog services. We only wanted a 50 dollar pre paid credit card to take care of an emergency situation and even 24 hours later those funds are stil not accessible. we did not apply for nor become part of any of their targeted low income, abused credit, consolidation, high intrest credit repair services. we just wanted to be able to use the money to pay a bill online. I am appauled that this company is still able to buisness any where within the USA let alone still use some of the same company names targeted as being the fraudulent service provider. I have a STRONG background in the same business they specialize in, handleing and offering a chance to repair bad credit for a higher fee because of the high risk lending involved. I also understand bad programming with some registration web sites. These complaints go beyond all of that and i would like to have something done or would like to have help in resolving the issue i am having with this/these corperations. I also encourage an investigation into the lending/advertising used by said company. Complaint Background Not all of these questions are required. Please provide as much information as you have. 1. I believe they got us also but for only 50 dollars not like your 200 dollars. you did fail to mention the 14.95 activation fee when you bought the card and you failed to mention the 4.95 they charge each month after. I have my own ripoff file on these same people now and have begun the full investigation process into this company and all the company names it uses ( there are many ) i will also attempt to post my copy of the letter sent to the BBB so be sure to read that.
