When I had my Cell Phone activated Nextel required a $200.00 dollar deposit this deposit was made on a credit card....... over a year later i asked for my deposit back and they could find NO record of it because they could not access their old system ...i gave them the credit card name and number and they still wanted me too give them another deposit.... i asked at that time if the phone would have been turned on WITHOUT the deposit too start with and they said no.... I then said well for it too be on you must have got a deposit right ... they agreed they must have but because they cant find it turned off my service and they have now sent it too collections.
