Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had signed up to be a vendor at the "USA Home and Family Show" in Jacksonville, FL. This was to take place on July 6th and 7th, at the "Prime F.Osborn III Convention Center" (904-633-6100). The promoter of the event was Niccam Promotions: 28870 US Hwy 19 N #403, Clearwater, FL 33761. This address happens to match a few other reports on ripoffreport.com for a company called "Quality Resources". Quite a coincidence. (I have also found the street address listed in advertisment as being in Palm Harbor, FL 34683). But the actual street address only exists in Clearwater.

Niccam Promotions was said to have been owned by Eric T. Bell and/or Liza D. Bell. The phone number was (past tense) 727-812-9331. They had (again, past tense) a website: usahomeandfamilyshow.com.

This was to be an event with over 200 vendors of various products that the paying public would walk around to view for 2 days. In this type of show, vendors like myself pay a fee (months ahead of time) to reserve a spot at the event. You have probably guessed by now that the promoters took everyone's money, then promptly cancelled the show and disappeared. The Prime Osborn Convention Center told us that Liza D Bell cancelled the event in February, explaining that her husband (Eric T Bell) had just been diagnosed with colon cancer. The convention center was nice enough to refund Niccam Promotions their original payment for reserving the venue, which usually doesn't happen. But Niccam Promotions did not notify us of the cancellation, did not refund our money, and is nowhere to be found.

They apparently did this in Tampa, FL, as well. I contacted the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa (800-345-3247), who said no such event took place there, even though Niccam Promotions had listed it as an event they were doing in June 2007.

It appears they actually had this event in Orlando in November 2006, at the Orange County Convention Center (407-685-9800). Upon contacting the Convention Center, we were told that it did take place, but that many vendors had complained of low public attendance. This usually indicates very little spent on marketing by the promoters -- one way to increase their income. This event was listed as having Erik Bell as the owner of Niccam (note the "k" instead of "c").

Today is 6/21/07 -- I have only discovered all of this info in the past 2 days. Still searching for more. I will update this again when I have more.

i am a very pleased customer of niccam promotions dba/ usa home and garden show. I was one of their very first exibitors in their very first show in the new port richey mall. my wife and i own a home design company . the home show had a medium turn-out. not what we expected. but we did get a good response considering attendence. we paid $400 for our booth and that was for a 3 day show. we ended up getting  really good leads at show. 2 of the leads turned out be 2 profitable jobs totaling about $30,000.00. because of slow attendance erik and liza bell gave us a free booth in 2 of the next upcoming home shows. We got leads from those and several other jobs. my wife and i became friends with erik and liza bell , niccam owners. we went out for dinners , boating. we really enjoyed erik and liza as friends and customers. i do believe they worked really hard to try and start a new company but had a lot of hurtles with the pending economy. there is no gaurenty of attendance and there is no promise of leads. as a business owner you know that. we did get jobs and made a profit. after seeing this site and some of the comments on this company and the owners erik and liza bell. my wife and i had to comment. we have owned are business for 10 years  and you know when your dealing with cons and fraud. niccam promotions was not the case. my wife and i saw a hard working couple trying to start a new business and support their family in an economic hard time. are company has had a hard hit also. as for fruad on advertising we saw the commercials, herd the radio ad, and read it in the newspapper. All you had to do was ask erik for an advertising schedule and he was happy to give it to you. with the comments on erik and liza bells marriage on this web site. my wife and i were discusted.this wesite is for businesses, not marriages. This sounds like envious backstabing ex-employee. we have had a couple of them with our company . thats the trouble when you work with your wife. your marriage and wife and children can become target for fired employees trying to get some kind of revenge. erik and liza bell were a great couple. my wife and i were really impresed at how well they worked together and after spending time with them as a couple you could see how muched they loved eachother and there children.  a pat on the back to both erik and liza bell. thanks for all you both did. my family misses you both. if only other couples would have what you two had. god bless

I am Erik and Liza Bell's ex-secretary. I had to write something after reading such lies. They never charged more than $250.00 to $900.00 depending on the size of exibit For every show .They spent $150,000.00 to $250,000.00 in advertising for every show, thats radio, print, and T.V. I should know I did all there filing and payroll. Erik and Liza made alot of money for the first year , but with the failing economy the home and garden shows just couldn't produce. I had to write on this web site after reading this because I used to do payroll and work in the office as Erik and Liza's secratary. I know who wrote these horrible lies. We were a small office at the time and Liza had brought a friend in to work in sales , she was a very heavy unattractive women in her late 30's. Her name was Nina Gilardi Fragola, I wrote her commission checks and she lives in Tarpon Springs, FL, and she was so jealous of Liza. Liza I guess slept with her ex . Liza is so beautiful, she is a b***h though. Everyone could tell Nina was so jealous, Nina was poor and married without any money. Anyway she always used to say " I want to choke Erik", thats why I know this is her who wrote these lies. You could tell she just wanted to be Liza, it was creepy, and Erik couldn't stand Nina . Nina would dress like Liza and act like her .Erik used to call Nina a PIG. If only Nina knew how mean Erik was to her .Erik knew Liza slept with her ex- boyfriend .Liza was a flirt with guys ,maybe thats why theres rumors of both of them cheating. I do feel sorry for Liza and her girls. Erik did die last year.I don't know if it was cancer though.I herd Liza made out ,Erik had 2 insurance policies, so good for her. I always was kind of jealous of Erik and Liza . I thought they were really in-love and had two perfect kids, beautiful home, great life,ETC. they always were playing around, and kissing, calling eachother baby, and I Love You.I'm not sure who was dishonest. I do believe that they were a honest company. They always paid me and all other employees. Nasty employees like Nina that try to give there employers a bad name are just miserable. If I looked like Nina Fragola I'd be miserable to. For me I was very happy with this company. Liza is a b***h though, and I thought she was mean to Erik, so maybe she gets what she diserves. But I cannot agree with these lies.I always liked Erik and His Family

Hello, I happen to stumble across this site and I thought it would be a good idea to inform others on how niccam ripped people of there hard working money. I worked at niccam back in 2005/2006 and thought in the begining that it was a real business doing business the right way. We started at a small location and then moved to a high rise bldg. (only to make things look nicer on the outside).I found out later that they would charge customers $1k upto 5k per show, they told us to tell customers that over 100k would be spent on radio, tv ads, newspapers, other marketing sources. They only spent maybe $5-10k tops, and the rest went on lavish life styles. When I relized after x 2 shows that almost 95% of vendors wanted to choke the living hell out Eric for decieving customers, I said that is enough for me and left the company. Eric enjoy's spending other people money to buy new Jaguar conv., and a Nice House in Palm Harbor. My boyfriend told me to leave once he found out all of this, I'm glad I listened. There might also be another scam ran by Eric, I think it is a Non Profit (Donate your Car Scam) Children Cancer Something it's called. For anyone intrested or if you are a victim look into this more.... Ok that's all I wanted to say, he paid me every week so I was ok with him on that part only. " Dirty Money" I feel sorry for Liza, if she only knew that Eric has girl friends on the side. I don't think he has cancer either (after reading a diffrent article about him having colon cancer). Again look into the whole cancer scam but I'm not 100% sure.

The address listed in this report is not the address of Quality Resources. As is known, office buildings contain multiple suites. One office building has the same street address, but multiple suite addresses. Quality resources is located in Suite 200. A yellow pages lookup at yellowpages.com gives the following address: Quality Resources Inc 28870 US Highway 19 N Ste 200 Clearwater, FL 33761 Map * (727) 669-2242 I am a previous employee of Quality Resources, and am in no way affiliated with them at this moment. They occupy the 1st and 2nd floor of this office building. The 3rd 4th and 5th floors are occupied by other businesses. It is just important we get information straight before we try smearing someone.
