Yes, they sell magazines. That is how they pay employees and fund the sweepstakes that they hold. The magazines are sold at an INCREDIBLE rate. Anyone who reads magazine's on a even semi regular basis has noticed the ever increasing price of magazines, ranging anywhere from $2 per issue to $7, or even $9. Personally I picked up about 6-7 magazine's a month, which didn't sem like much since I was just tacking them onto the end of my grocery bill. But when I did the math... around $30 a MONTH at the publishers price. Not to mention the newstand price! Instead they offer you a rate of just over $5 a month for the same number of magazines! As a Customer Service Representative for NME, as well as a consumer, it has come to my attention that most people only hear about 10% of anything being said - what they want to hear. They read "You've won" instead of "You may be elligible". But some people pay close attention and DO realize what an incredible deal they are recieving. We have customers that date back to 1984 when the company first started. They joined the millions who are saving incredible amounts on products they already used!

This is like the worst ripoff ever! The con you into buying magazines at rates 10 times higher than the actual prices. In exchange, they enter you in some crooked contest. Buying magazines from these people is like paying $20 a gallon for gas! Would you call that a good value? I wouldn't! Once they have your account number, you can't get them to ever cancel and stop stealing your money. Complete ripoff! My suggestion is to have your bank do a chargeback on this scam company. That costs them money. You know, if enough people did that, the crook's merchant account would be taken away. Then, you wouldn't have to see these scams in your mailbox ever again.
