Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Well basically I placed 3 orders with nomorerack on 12/02 of this year.

I had hoped I would receive them prior to Christmas but they never came. I started calling the delivery companies, asking neighbors, checking my mailbox repeatedly, I took every avenue possible. EXCEPT contacting nomorerack themselves which I ended up doing after a stressful Christmas and hardly no gifts for my children due to other peoples incompetence.

I figured I would get the help I deserved after the holiday rush.. during the Christmas season, so many packages are lost in transit, destroyed, stolen, delivered to the wrong address, etc. I'm not here to dog UPS, Fedex, USPS or any of the delivery services really. They have tried to help me a lot more than Nomorerack.

Anyway after emailing NMR's 24/7 customer support.. I received an E-mail from Jonathan asking me the order numbers and details of the merchandise in question which I found odd given those were the only orders placed on my account ever.. so it's pretty self explanatory.

I had to basically copy and paste my order history for Jonathan because not much else would suffice. That was okay though, I did it. Then I waited for the speedy reponse he promised.. for an entire day.. then 2 days.. then nearly 3. Finally I sent the same email to him again, pointing out the fact that he never replied to me. He finally did after he avoided my pleas for his help regarding an issue that was definitely not my fault.

He said to me in the reply message, that he checked the delivery status and all items had been delivered properly. For me to check my mailbox, contact my neighbors, and contact the local post office to see if they were holding them. I'm not sure if Jonathan knows the struggle of being a single parent but he's crazy if he thinks I wouldn't have already done all of these things already.. when over $100 is flushed down the toilet with nothing in return to show for it except sad children.

To add to my already horrible experience.. Jonathan also stated I had to file a police report and send him a copy in order for him to assist me further. I guess he's also not aware that the police aren't going to really do anything about a missing package. What a great policy *sarcasm*

It baffles me how a place can demand a police report from you when you don't even know what's happened in the first place. During Christmas time anything could happen.. you can't just assume they were stolen. That's a waste of time and effort.. taking the police away from actual crime so you can file a police report for a website that makes its living by selling other companies old shitty merchandise for amazing deals and prices!!

Companies like Amazon will refund you straight away if you have any issues at all, that's why I'll be taking my business to them for everything I may need in the future. I'd rather a pay a few extra dollars and know I'll be reimbursed if anything should happen rather than try to 'save money' when I get absolutely nothing in return.

I hope they are happy that they've gotten my childrens christmas gift money this year, disgusting crooks. I would ashamed if I had to have that on my conscience. All for the sake of a dollar when they make more than I do in a year.. in one day probably.

I was also told the police report bit was part of their rules and regulations... I searched the site for something stating that and didn't really find anything similar to what Jonathan was stating.

I am going to attempt to file a complaint with my bank and hopefully after some investigation, I will get my money back and try to redeem myself for the terrible Christmas my kids had. It's better late than never.

Happy Holidays, No More Rack. I bet all of you had a good one. <3

Yeah so.. I e-mailed NMR after they posted here for me to do so. I wanted to see if they could possibly help me since they said they would.

I basically got the SAME response:

This company is a joke. The buyers are not protected. That A-to-Z guarantee you're so used to on Amazon.. you won't get that from these crooks. So don't waste your time here, people. If merchandise you bought should ever go missing in transit.. you are absolutely screwed. I knew I'd get the police report response from this clown too.

Oh well.. my bank said they could and would reverse the charges. But still. What if someone else isn't that lucky? I think their terms and conditions need to be revised. I also think.. if they're going to try to clear up the negative feedback they get on these sites, they shouldn't use robots to respond to every message sent.

Normally I'd just look the other way but I tried to take the high road with these people. Because I have several missing items.. I have to file a police report. I don't get it. When you have several missing items in which you have no idea where they went, you should be reimbursed. This wasnt my fault.

I also asked Irene who I could report Jonathan to.. She wouldn't give me that information. :)

So before I waste my time e-mailing you the same exact thing I posted initally.. accompanied with order numbers and product descriptions.. tell me this: Is it NoMoreRacks set policy to not refund or replace ANY items in which they profit from directly without a police report?

Your coworker Jonathan is still e-mailing me. He's fashionably late as per usual, with nothing but snarky and thoughtless suggestions to hand out. I would really like to be pointed in the direction of who I can send a copy of our correspondance to. Even if he is telling me all that he can - I just want everyone to see how the customer service associates treat their customers. His attitude in general just sucks - I've been as kind and patient as I possibly can given the entire situation.

As someone who has worked in the retail industry, one slogan has always been set in stone: The customer is always right. Even if they aren't right, they're still right. Everywhere I've worked, it's been our job to bend over backwards and gargle peanut butter if that's what it takes.. as long as the customer is satisfied. I never asked for anything besides what I'm entitled to, I'm sure you would feel the same if you were in my shoes.

If you want to help me properly then return my money that rightfully belongs to me or replace the merchandise in which I paid for. I won't be filing police reports because let's be honest with ourselves.. what in the world is that going to help? Lol

That's comparable to filing a police report on a childs stolen bicycle. It's really the least of their worries. They have more pressing matters to attend to and it's doubtful they will send out the k-9's. Also, if I'm not mistaken don't I have to have actual proof that something was stolen or taken from me in order to file a proper report? How could I possibly submit proof on something I didn't see with my own two eyes? That just seems like a trap to me. If I can't prove anything - the 'investigation' is obviously not going to go in my favor. Furthermore, what if nothing was stolen but just simply misplaced? It happens so much during the holiday season.

So many if's, what's, and but's.. too few resolutions.

And yes, I am bitter. Some of us actually struggle to make ends meet by way of an honest living, whilst the real criminals are making us run around and go past our 30 day limit for any type of reimbursement trying to file a police report.

Before I go, I'll drop you another priceless gem from Jonathan: "We also assume that you know and understood these policies as you have bound yourself with the terms and conditions on Nomorerack when you accepted them as a requirement for you to use our site." -Jonathan G.

So there you have it. When you order from NMR you are making the unbreakable vow. If we learned anything from the Harry Potter franchise, you just DON'T ever do that. Not ever. No matter how secret these terms and conditions may be, how obscure of a place they might be listed, how small the print is or how many times a parsel-tongue contacts you via e-mail to spread the word.. you have sworn an oath.

I want to clear this up before I depart. Before we can purchase goods and use a retail website that advertises itself all over the place .. all the time.. we have to be aware that if anything should go wrong, even if it's not our fault.. we are held accountable and basically lose our money. Rest assured, if me and the rest of the population knew those terms and conditions prior to our purchases - I seriously doubt anyone would toss NMR two nickels to rub together. Maybe be a bit more clear about the binding contracts you basically have to sign in blood on your advertisements. When I shop anywhere else, in person or online..  I can honestly say I've never had this experience in my life.

In a nutshell, love.. if you can't return my merchandise or my money - I'm not going to bother. And the only police report I'll be dealing with is the one against this company when I file my dispute claim with my financial institution. ^^

Happy Holidays!
