We just landed with Darkstarllc after trying out a slew of other providers. So far our view is that the ventrilo server is adequate at best but, to be frank, the support is terrible at best. Their responses to our tickets often take hours and when they do come often only address fragments of the questions asked and also often don't really help. Our guild recently decided the downtime with our ventrilo was enough and requested the ventrilo server to be canceled at the end of the billing cycle which was 3 weeks away.   Now, For whatever reason they (darkstarllc) charged my CC anyway on the 1st.  When I inquired about the charge the ticket was closed without comment.   Further calls to the support phone line resulted in no call back so the only thing that can be taken from this is darkstarllc have no intention of honoring they're clients and have no problem stealing money from them after they cancel

As a result I'm now posting here hoping to solve our own problems.
