In September of 2004 I met with a business called "Nation Wide Merchant Services here in Utah. The salemans name was Lew Ison, and another man named Kent ?. I never received any paper work or copy of my application. A few months later I was overdrawn at my bank for $90.oo. I asked what it was all about. I noticed it was from a company from New York, call Norther Leasing Systems.

I immediately called to find out what was going on. The receptioist told me that they I had leased a credit card machine for 48 months at $90. per month. $4,300 for this machine. I don't think so. I closed my account right away.

I began my research and found this web site and continued to advise an attorney.

I am going to small claims court this month and I hope that Northern Leasing Systems shows up. I will also serve Lew Ison from Nation Wide Merchant Services.

Lets see who comes up the original copy of my lease agreement!!

There are 6 other business here in Utah with different saleperson that have had similar situations with Northern Leasing Systems, N.Y.

As a person who deals with lease companies everyday Northern is now the hardest to get your money from.

They call the business back and talk to the owner to go over the lease- then they call back a few days later. If someone was to use false info to get a lease done it would be easy to do but even easier to get caught. Just trace the phone number they used- the frauds I have seen use a legit business but a phone number that goes to them. I know that if I got ripped off and I didn't sign anything there no way in HELL I would let the salesperson get away with it. Go after the rep- make the company go after the rep- but you can't say that Northern encougages this type of business because as someone who deals with 7 other lease companies Northern is the HARDEST (now maybe) to work with for the honest hardworking rep. I personally had to go through a criminal/credit background check to even be set up with these people- lucky I've NEVER been arrested or anything. Again, maybe Northern cleaned up its act- I only know about the last year or so- AGAIN-FRY THE REP-

Hi Ken, You said: Northern has alot of these and they WANT to believe the salesman but you must let them (Northern) know that you did not sign anything and the police have been notified. Only will they then take this seriously. You are trying to tell us that a multi hundreds million dollars corporation like NLS do not know how to choose honest merchants to work with. The fact is that Northern Leasing System (NLS) WANT their salesman to cheat, lie, con, scam, deceive, steal, and forge to get business people's information. That is how NLS operates its business. If NLS is morally care and concern about people's complaints, why are they so many law suits after the company (NLS)? I did more than notified the police about my encounter with NLS's con salesman, so are the people who have complained on this website. Do you think that NLS really care? As long as they can use the loophole to cover up their deceptive business act, they will continue to do it. NLS's criminal act is nothing new, I have been fighting this devil for years already. Why is NLS still having the same problem after so many years? Hum I can guarantee you that NLS will soon get exposed just like Leasecomm Corporation. (You can use Google to learn more about Leasecomm) Yes, I do want to believe that you are an honest man who is just so happen to work for/with a corrupted company. May God bless you!!!!

Having encountered a problem with Northern Leasing as well that resulted in our first ever lawsuit and summons, we were fortunate enough to find, just in time, that a class action suit has been brought against the company by Chittur and Associates in New York. You should be able to find both the article about the suit and the law firm's contact information on Google. Although the class action suit has already begun, we were able to join.

A Way Out This is NO different than if

I write Merchant accounts and use Northern Leasing. The problem is not with the companies it is with the criminals that forged your name. This is NO different than if they went and got a loan or credit card in your name. All you have to do is report this as a "Identy Thief" situation with Northern and the Credit reporting agencies. Northern has alot of these and they WANT to believe the salesman but you must let them(Northern) know that you did not sign anything and the police have been notified. Only will they then take this seriously. The salesman probably is still sending them deals. I have had to do this personally for some local merchants in order to get a conman out of my area. You will NOT have to pay for this if you handle it as if someone got credit in your name (which they did). On a $90.00 lease they pocketed $3,000.00 the next day. GOOD LUCK

This is not a coincidence that this happened to you, this same scam happened to me seven years ago. This is a well organized and planed network of scam to rob small business owners. I don't think you can sue Northern Leasing System (NLS) in your own state that what I was told. You have to sue them in New York. You can definitely sue those con salesmen if you know where they are in your state. But the ROOT or MASTER MINDER is NLS. Please advise other business owners who have been victimized by Northern Leasing System (NLS) to visit and post messages on this website. The only way to put a stop to NLS corruption is to fight them together, don't let them get away with this. File your complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, Utah State Attorney General, and go to your Local Police. You might want to send some of the messages on this website along with your complaint. Good luck to you!!!
