Bought car in november 2005. In for clutch repair january 2006. Business made me pay for parts. They ate labor on replace clutch. Transmission broke march 2006 Northtown claimed wrong oils used. They dropped the starter w/o my permission to touch the car as was unclear which warrantee the problem was covered by, when told them to reconnect they said the would but I would have to pay. Was towed to Dan George, they couldnt do diagnostics unless I agreed to the 78 dollars an hour to put the parts NorthTown disassembled back together. Ron called northtown and was told Northtown is payin for NOTHING having to do with that car and stated appears to have been wrong oils used.

Dan Georger people didn't look at car. Claimed same. i signed off on Dan Georger doing diagnostic due to w/o them even looking at the car they appeared to take Northtown's opinion.

When purchased the car Northtown failed to disclose the car was in an accident in July of 2005. Carfax report I purchased showed car had been in for two repairs under original owner. Northtown blamed all issues on my 19 yr old Son who is a LCPL with the USMC truck company out of erie pa, that received car w/ 25000 miles on it. previous/original owner was 25 yr old female when she traded it in to Northtown.

Went through better business bureau Northtown mislead facts. Went to Mitsubishi Corperate Cali, they said can be of no assistance. Declined Dan Georger as I had already seen thier response to the vehicle w/o looking at it after they spoke to Northtown. Had the car towed back here once recieved notice from Mitsubishi that they had never been notified of the car being in ANY accidents, and since had "independent" repair shop tend the clutch issues, they no longer have any involvement in the vehicle.

Have copies of carfax report of towing expenses, of work done and paid out of pocket by northtown. Have copies of major defect bulletins posted regarding the 2003 eclipse' have the broken transmission, the "foreign matter" and fluid from the transmission prior to having a PRIVATE mechanic repair the car to the cost of $2252.00 my expense as we have made only 5 payments on this "POS" and its been off the road more than on.

So far, its cost me out of pocket twice for the same issue. and the only understanding I am finding is that big business sells you junk and comes up with a bunch of ways to prevent themselves from honoring the warrantees. while on this "adventure" I have come across an awful lot of people in western new york that have nothing nice to say about NORTHTOWN WORLD AUTO CENTRE dealerships in this area.

IF you are shopping for a car for a new graduate DO NOT GO HERE! They are so NOT customer friendly once they get you to sign on the dotted line.

Well folks, adding to this complaint already! In december i paid out of pocket to replace the clutch in the mitsubishi eclipe. In April I paid out of Pocket to replace the TRANSMISSION in the same 2003 ECLIPSE....now here it is the end of MAY, the car was on the road again for 24 hours Its back in the shop, its about to be getting an ENGINE. I have made 5 payments on this car JUST FIVE and have replaced clutch, transmission, and now engine!! You want to explain to me the meaning of a LEMON!! Still no help from NORTHTOWN Mr. FUNK is forever "on vacation" ..thats putting it mildly! DO NOT BUY FROM THOSE PEOPLE you will be saddled with a payment book for 5 yrs AND have no other choice but to keep pullin money out of pocket to FIX what they WONT HELP YOU WITH
