Norvergence ripoff Lets get together and get out of our leases-There are thousands like me?? Newark New Jersey
I signed a lease between Norvergence and my company. I am a small business with only three phone lines and internet access. They promised me the entire package like they did ten thousand others. There are around four thousand like myself that did not even get the service but have the equipment. Norvergence sold our leases to companies, mine is Wells Fargo. They say I owe the $15,000.00 and I have NOTHING.
I have two attorneys working on this. I received a copy of the lease agreement from Wells Fargo and they marked out the word Norvergence and wrote in Wells Fargo and initialed it.
My agreement did not have the name Wells Fargo written in and I do not see how they can change it after I have signed it, I have a copy as proof. This is wrong and this might be what gets us out. Once one of us gets out of it, it seems like they have set a precidence and have to let us all out.

I suggest, and I have done myself, to file complaints with all local, state and federal agencies about your lease company. This will certainly not hurt as most of us did it against NorVergence and that likely put some heat on them. With CIT I not only filed with the Attorney General in the State of Florida but also with the AG in the State of Illinois. My original lease was with OFC Capital and was sold to CIT with our knowledge. I know that doesn't mean anything but NorVergence, Lorie Bierman,SM, promised us that they would make the lease payment until I was totally operational with my equipment. Of course this never happened and now I am being harrassed by CIT. If we all file complaints against these "partners in crime" of NorVergence maybe we can get someone to take notice and look into their relationship with NorVergence. It just can't hurt!!!
