I booked a 7 days cruise, plus 2 day pre-hotel in Honolulu.  1st, I am still struggling with NCL/Marriott to get the United Mileage I was to earn for paying $650.00 per room to mile United Mileage Plus program.....After 2 emails, 3-4 phone calls, NOTHING has been resolved.

During the cruise, I called the passenger services desk to report the STRONG odor of sewage in my cabin.  She said she would report it.  Well, 7 days went buy and the sewage smell never even disipated.  I became Ill while on board.  I returned home to my doctor, chest x-ray, anti-biotics, nothing help.  I was told they thought I had bronchitis, but not Phenomenea.  Today, July 19, I am still ill with the same symptoms.  Sick, fever, weak, coughing, etc.

I, NOR THE GROUP OF TRAVELERS with me will ever cruise on NCL again.  The "Pride of America," has none!  It is a tired old tub that needs serious attention before more passengers become more seriously ill or death.

I would be fearful of ever referring anyone to cruise on the Pride of America.  I've cruised on MAN other cruise lines and have never experienced such disgust as this, let alone the care of the crew to correct the problem.  I don't blame it totally on the crew, It starts from the TOP down, management that is more in tuned to making big profits, rather than the safety of its guests and passengers.
