What a ripoff and what a horrible experience!! Dishonest owner with an attitude! I went there to get highlights and a cut. I stayed there for 5 HOURS. They were understaffed and the hairstylist could not even understand English. I asked for BLONDE highlights. My hair was blonde but my roots were showing.

When my hair was washed, I immediately noticed it was too dark. The owner said by drying it would come out ok. I noticed that the hairdresser while washing my hair put some toner on it-while telling the other woman in Spanish it was too dar. They had no idea I understood Spanish. I decided to wait until the hair ws dried to give them a chance. My hair was dried and it was completely brown. Basically they had died my hair brown and the added some highlights that did not show at all. When I asked for them to fix it the next day (it was already 6PM), the owner started to say it would damage and break my hiar. I said I don't want it this color, this is not what I asked for. They continued speaking in Spanish and I could understand them saying they were afraid I wasn't going to pay-they knew I wasn't going to like it.

I told them I was coming back the next day. When I said I was going to pay the cut and the blow dry that day and the color the next day, the woman said no and told me the bill was 255 dollars. I almost fainted. 255 dollars (which near Christmas time is a lot of money!) for leaving the salon with mousy brown hair I did not ask for? I complained and said I would pay for the cut and blow dry, and the woman had a horrible attitude. I told her when a customer is unhappy you need to give them a discount, like in any restaurant.  She refused. I decided to pay because I didnt know what were my rights at that moment.

When I arrived home and saw how dark my hair was and how changing the color the next day would damage it, I was devastated and decided to reverse charges. These people are dishonest and incompetent. How can a hairdresser not speak English and serve the American public? Then put a sign up saying "for Spanish speakers only".

Stay away. DO not go there because they are extremely expensive and incompetent. For that amount of money I could have gone to a very nice hair salon in Georgetown, DC.

RIP OFF, DISHONESTY and INCOMPETENCE.
