NRG Heating and Air Conditioning unlawful actions, illegal marketing, harassment by employees canoga park California
These guys are committing illegal acts, and harassing innocent individuals.
After endless weeks of multiple unsolicited sales calls every other day by NRG Air Conditioning in Canoga Park I could take it no more. They would not take me off their call list when requested many times and their sales people were abusive and demeaning when we asked to be removed. Finally I just scheduled a person to come out to the house so I could ask a real person to remove us from the list and to get their contractor’s license number so I could file a complaint with the California State Contractors Licensing Board (which I have) and a complaint with the BBB (which I have). A tech came out as scheduled today and I obtained a business card with the license # and told him why I scheduled the appointment and that I need to be taken off the call list. The tech admitted to me that the sales calls were coming from their own internal sales call staff. As he drove off I could see he was talking on his hand held cell phone in violation of California law to someone.
4 minutes later I got a person from NRG's office calling me and YELLING AT ME for needlessly scheduling a tech. My guess is it was the owner TAMIR YOSSI of Calabasas California as he referred to the tech as "my employee." Found his exact house on google. Or it could have been EVA TAMIR. Anyway, the yelling and swearing went on for several minutes. I could see the phone number was (818) 340-7333 which is the phone number of the company. As I could not get a word in edge-wise I called the number back and asked to be put on the do not call list (which I am already listed on in the national database so they are violating the law by calling in the first place). Then within 10 minutes I started getting sales calls from other totally unrelated companies that said I registered online to be called about loans and other things. NRG clearly entered my name and phone number on websites to be called and deliberately harassed by other companies. I could tell it was them because I had given them a phony name and these other calls all used that phony name as well. ONLY NRG had that name!!!!! Frankly, I think that is fraud.
So these guys are committing illegal acts, and harassing innocent individuals that they should not be calling in the first place.
Avoid NRG Air Conditioning at all costs. A quick view of their Yelp reviews reveals similar harassment and many problems people are having with them.
