I went to go buy a new bumper for my car and they had 1 bumper for a 2000 Accord 4 door because another customer ordered it but flaked out and didn't buy it. I told the employee that my car was 2 door and he said it would fit because the fronts are the same.

The next day the body shop calls me and tells me it doesn't fit because its made for a 4 door car. I even went to the Honda dealer to confirm this and they did.

I took back the bumper and asked for a refund because I could not wait a week since I have school. The owner said all sales are final and I could not have a refund. He told me he would order me the right bumper. I asked him how long it would take and he said call in tomorrow.

I called in to see when it was arriving and the employee said it would be in tomorrow. I come in 3 days later to find out it had no arrived. I asked the owner when it would be coming and he said come back Monday. I come back Monday and it was still not in.

I demanded a refund and he refused. I call my bank right after he said no because I paid with my debit card to see if I could do anything about it and they said no because I had signed a receipt saying all sales are final.

Ten minutes later he comes out and says he just called to see when it would be coming. He told me it would be coming tomorrow and if I still wanted it. I said no because midterms were coming and I could not miss any days of school.

I come back two days later to point out to them that it is the law to lie about the bumper fitting. He apologized and told me the bumper would be in tomorrow (even though the owner said he canceled it?). It is called innocent misrepresentation, which is a form of fraud, because I'm guessing he did not know about it when he told me. Innocent representation makes the receipt I sign void. I think it is odd though that he ALSO owns an Accord of the same year but just 4 door and he works at a store that sells only auto parts.

He tells me that he is not the owner and I would have to come tomorrow. The next day I come and tell him what I told his employee yesterday. He did not even care and said he is charging me the shipping cost. I asked him for the papers of the bumper he ordered me. He does not even have any papers because he said he ordered by phone.

The price for the bumper I bough that was for a 4 door Accord was 250 + $20 tax. He did not say how much shipping was but if I were to order the samething online, it would be around $150.
