I came in touch with Nu-way real estate through their website in October 2008 solely because I Needed financing. Their advertisement sounded too good to be true so I checked them out with the BBB Boulder/Denver area and found that they had a good rating. I also checked them out at scam.com and found that they had somewhat mixed feedback from the bloggers but had more favorable comments. I failed to check with ripoffreports and this was my greatest undoing!I talked to Mr. Beau Woods who claimed to be the executive vice president and told him specifically that I had already undergone trainings in real estate and only interested in the funding aspect. He still insisted that I go through their $49.95 information package which I eventually did and canceled same day because there was nothing new in it. He subsequently told me that my money would be refunded but never did. I sent him several reminders to that effect all to no avail. When he discovered that I was not interested in their training program, he promised me that he would fund my deals but then I have to go through their training in order to know exactly the type of houses to look for. He faxed a copy of their enrollment in which they promised to fund my deals for up to $500,000 if I can commit $6500. He said that my commitment is just a show of my unalloyed interest in the program. When I got their training package, after I paid using my CC, I called him to cancel because I saw nothing new or different from what I already know. Moreover, you cannot be able to ascertain if this program is a good fit for you in just 2 days. He insisted that I should still go along with them since their funding is guaranteed. He managed to convince me after he said that the whole process would be faster since I had immense knowledge of real estate in the NY area. He even promised me a 50/50 profit split once a house is sold. The contract was to be for 6 months during which time I'm expected to have completed their so called training and submitted a house for financing. The training was lackluster and dragged on interminably which led me to lay numerous complaints. When it finally ended sometime in December I started submitting properties. I spent uncountable hours going through numerous properties, driving to the address and taking pictures. When I eventually submitted the houses, no more response for 2 months. Finally I checked them out again with BBB and discovered that they have been revoked. I called Mr. Beau Woods again and told him I have lost 2 months already because they bailed out on me! A Josh Tararico promised to give me a 3 months extension but I turned it down and told them to refund my money. Right now they refused to refund my money but I will not give up until someone listens and nail these crooks. All their activities were pre-planned right from your 1st contact with them! They have put in all the neccessary legal papers to protect their end of this scam. Never go through their recorded call. This is what they will use against you when they default. They never intended to fund any deal so beware!

Wow... You sure didn't read the OP, did you? The OP said he already had training in real estate dealings. He DIDN'T indicate where that training came from, from some sort of respected, accredited institute OR from a book, which is where you're sneakily trying to steer people's opinions to by jumping to and pushing that particular agenda. I say "agenda" because your wording and approach reek of trying to blame the victim to the point where you sound like a shill for the company about whom the complaint here was filed.

I can see how most people would not pay to be educated in real estate investing, stock investing or most anything else. I would challenge the complaining person to show their tax returns for the last 10 years and show us all how much they made investing in real estate. Or for that matter anything else. If you could just go the book store and buy books to be successful, the world would be full of successful people. Unfortunately that is not the case, and the world is full of people trying to drag us down to their level. That which is usually not one of personal success. I wouldn't go to my children's school janitor to ask whether I should have kemo or radiation to cure my cancer, so beware who gives you advice on your success in life as an investor. I personally would only take advice from someone who has actually achieved success. Unfortunately those people are busy making money at what they do, and the only people will to give advice are those that don't really have anything of real value to offer. So read these type of sites for what they really are, just a place for losers or failures to voice their opinions. Remember, you are only a failure when you start o blame others for your failures. failing in life is part of becoming successful, so take responsibility for your own life.
