Read the extremely fine print here, folks! (and do your math)

When I received my "free trial" they first charged me $3.97 for shipping. On my invoice it states, the free trial actually starts when I ordered it, which was about 3-4 days before I received the product. The invoice also reads (in fine print) The $3.97 has been charged to your credit card or checking account. $79.90 will be billed to your card to complete payment on May 16, 2009. (That's approx. 21 days, not 30, folks!) The 21 days is not stated anywhere on the invoice or return policy, by the way.

Also included with my product and invoice was a Return Policy which states: If returning a product, you must call for a Return Authorization (RA) number to receive a prompt refund of your product. (Products without this RA number won't be processed.)

They make it pretty tough to return and cancel your account here! They also state that auto-delivery products are non-refundable, but you can "exchange it for one of their other wonderful products if this one isn't right for you." Sorry, people at NutraLane, but what's not right for me if paying $35.00 per bottle of anything and having it "conveniently" yanked out of my bank account!

All I can say is that I'm following their rules and sending it all back tomorrow with delivery confirmation. They darn well better not charge my card $79.90!!

I spoke to Heather and Riki on the phone (they're not allowed to give their last names) both of them assured me that if I returned the product before 21 days, I would not be charged. By the way, I tried the product for five days and it did nothing for me!

Well, they also had better not solicit me for more of their fabulous products, and I'm going to mention that too in the letter I plan to send with the product!

Don't fall for this scam folks!

Hi Edna-

It sounds to me like you are just another one of those people expecting something for nothing in life.  Gimme, gimme, gimme......no I dont want to pay for it.  Nutra Lane is a business not a charity.

You authorized a charge to your credit card without reading the contract in full before the authorization?  Now you want to blame the company for holding you to the terms of the contract?  Shame on you!  This is a classic case of "I didn't read it before I signed it".  The responsibility lies on you, not Nutra Lane.  I am not a lawyer but I do know that this would stand up in any court of law and the judgement would be for Nutra Lane.

As far as the RA number requirement.  90% of the companies that I have ordered products form online require one of these.  It is to ensure that your refund or credit is applied properly.  People like you are the reason these steps must be taken, to protect the company from being terrorized by irresponsible consumers.

I have ordered product from Nutra Lane and have returned it and gotten other products.  What they offer is actually a better deal than buying a $10 bottle of SlimQuick at WalMart.  Not ALL products and formulas work for everyone.  We all have different chemical makeups, therein lies the necessity for different formulas.  Nutra Lane offers you an opportunity to try their product risk free and to exchange until you find which of their products works best for you.

You are not a victim here, you are someone who lacks accountability skills.  Plain and simple.
