Nutrimost LLC Dr. Foss Nutrimost System Dr. Supervised Weight Loss Scam Fleming Island Florida
On Apirl 2016 I arrived at an appoitnment with my spouse at the Nutrimost Center in Fleming Island. They have you check in and sit in front of a TV screen and review some infomercial type stories of people who have tried and succeeded in the weight loss program, that is Nutrimost.
We were given a BMI scan, or from what I can tell we only stood on a scale and weight measured. From that weight measurement and a guessed height they were supposedly able to calculate water saturation percentages, and a healthy caloric burn amount that was able to tell you what you calories you are ingesting, what is your burn rate and what your metabolic age is.
Upon completion of the scan you sit down with a health coach who has no medical experience whatsoever and are guided through what you can expect as far as support and diet goes, no specifics.
Then you are given pricing options and asked to pick an appropriate plan for the nutrition plan.
Upon signing up with a long and very extensive contract you are given the supplements and guidance on reducing your diet to only 500 calories a day. You are instructed to contact a health liason if you are to have questions. At no point was medical advise from a Medical Doctor received.
My wife became very ill on the third day, becoming very dizzy and shivering nonstop. We contacted the health liason and they directed us to eat oranges? What in the name of sound medicine would a medical suggestion come in the form of ingesting oranges?
That is where I drew the line and spoke to the person who hooked us on the plan and began asking for refund guidelines. Any self respecting company who offers any type of product would have a refund policy right??? Incorrect, they stated you signed a contract and you have to deal with it.
I can go on and on and on about why this is a phony program. If anyone wants to drop pounds and eliminates sugar and extra calories from their diet, they will lose weight. However, the promised weight loss supervision promised by the program to come from a medical doctor is no where to be found.
If you want to lose weight, watch what you eat, eliminate fatty foods and find your will power! Save your money and the headache of this system.
They advertise unsubstantiated medical claims by what I came to find ouit is not a doctor but a chiropractor. Looking for assistance in ending the contract that I have signed with these individuals. Considering hiring an attorney.
