NWI Towing NWITOWING / Northwest Indiana Towing Ignorance and Arrogance Hammond, Indiana
NWI Towing is a poorly run service that employs both an ignorant and arrogant tow truck driver. The driver uses deceptive methods when towing cars. I was able to intercept my car being towed and attempted to speak with the driver about steps needed to re-gain possession of my car. The driver began a tirade of comments regarding his authority to take possession and working with the police department.
His comments were unneeded as I did not ask for his forgiveness or understanding. He quoted I pay him 175 dollars or he could do (a list of things he felt important saying). I called the police who came and said NWI Towing charges different people, different amounts and their business practice was deceptive.
After officers arrives, the driver said " I dont deal with youth."
I am a college graduate with 2 degrees. I may look young but I am not naive or unaware of my rights.
Don't scam hardworking people out of money. If its a flat rate, its a FLAT rate. Not a rate based upon your choosing.
