it all started about 18 months ago when oakwood paid property taxes on property that was not mine (they paid taxes on land not the mobilehome) then sent me a letter stating my payments would go up by almost 30.00 per month. so I contacted them to find out why they paid 400 in property taxes when my taxes were only 91.00.

they argued the tax issue with me and told me they would investigate it. well phone call after phone call nothing happened except me starting over with each phonecall and having them tell me I had to pay the new payment amount until the issue was resolved. well it is 18 months later and it has been finally credited back to me. I have been late with my payments ever since this and I pay the 5.00 per month for the late fees(and dont complain about it) but it was the only way to get someone on the phone.

well now they tell me because they credited me back that I have a shortage in my escro account that my payments will go up 10.00 per month again to cover this. well I didnt pay then since contacting them about this. I owe 2 payments but not the amount they say. well they called today and said if I dont pay the amount they want (not what I really owe)they will reposess my home. this is just plain BS. how can they just decide to charge more than I owe and make me pay it? it just isnt right.

my issue isnt the 10 dollars it is they just decide to change my payments and send me a letter and they expect me to pay it. well you call them and they say someone will investigate it. but they never do they just keep taking and taking.
