OAN - Affinity Marketing - Privasafe Email FRAUD SERVICE New York, Northridge, California Nationwide
I opened my Bellsouth bill for the month of May and found charges for a PrivaSafe 1x set up email fee of $12.95. I contacted OAN, and they said that I had signed up for the service online (which I never did), and that they had all this personal information about me. When asked to verify my personal information, I was given the run-around and eventually told that they did not have that information.
I spoke to 5 different people at OAN yesterday and everyone that works at that company is EXTREMELY rude. They said my charges would be taken off, and the service cancelled. When I called back later in the day to make sure everything was settled, I was informed that I had already been billed for next month, so they would have to address that problem in the next billing cycle. I called Bellsouth and had them send the charges BACK to OAN. I refuse to pay for a service that I do not have, and did not sign up for. Don't let these people take advantage of you....I'm just beginning with them.
