Prior to my relocation to Georgia, I had never heard of nor patronized an O'Charley's Restaurant. However, after becoming a loyal patron of that establishment, whenever I get a chance, I am there. So, when O'Charley's had a special this past Christmas that for the purchase of a $100.00 gift card (which I purchased for my son) I would get $40.00 in a gift card, I jumped at the chance.
I was given $40.00 worth of reward cards, each in the sum $5.00 to be used only one (1) $5.00 card for a visit to the restaurant, which was surprising and annoying. Adding insult to injury, I was then informed that there was an expiration date, i.e. valid 1/1/18 up through 2/13/18, which is absolutely almost impossible to use since you can only use the $5.00 reward for a visit. Effectively one would have to eat at O’Charley’s on an average of two to three times a week to be able to use the “gift cards.”
The information on the website was a complete falsehood and fraudulent. I would never have purchased the gift card knowing the above restrictions and criteria. I am now left with six (6) $5.00 reward cards for a total of $30.00, which have expired.
In the interim, I spoke with one of the managers of an O’Charley’s, who in turn gave me an email address of his manager, a Patrick Dunne. After sending Mr. Dunne two (2) emails and not receiving a response, I just gave up and decided to voice my opinion on your website. One would think that at least the courtesy of a response, especially from a manager, would be expected and received.
