I have filed a report here before and just as angry as everyone else. Today, even more so.
I want to refinance my FHA loan that HUD sold to Ocwen years ago. However, I can't because when HUD sold the loan to Ocwen, the MIP insurance wasn't there. Therefore, anyone with an FHA loan WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REFINANCE unless it is insured. Now, the company I was talking to, James. B. Nutter, said they all to well know the practices of Ocwen. They also told me that no lender will refinance a FHA loan without MIP insurance.
So, guess what, those of us who were screwed by HUD in the first place are being screwed again. We are in OCWEN prision WITHOUT the possibility of Parole.
I don't know if this is true or not, but I was also told that Ocwen can take our homes anytime they please without the MIP insurance.
Bear in mind, I do not have any late payments, all the postings (so far) have been correct, except one, and yes they (Ocwen) have screwed up my taxes. I have had problems. But this now totally scares me even more. The fact that being current, no late charges, etc, and Ocwen can STILL take your home? There is something really wrong with this picture.
I hope to God Kweku Hanson can get something done about these criminals.
