I regret to inform our troops and their families that the fallen Iraq War Hero Captain John E. Tipton's death gratuity money was stolen in an investment swindle when his family sought to invest the money towards the education of Captain Tipton's children and answered a fraudulent newspaper ad. The perpetrator of this despicable crime was given a slap on the wrist with no penalties by the Okaloosa County court on 11/20/2006 and though a small fraction of the money was recovered, the majority of the Captain Tipton's death gratuity money is gone forever as the thief falsely claims to be indigent.

The court case in the theft of Captain John E. Tipton's death gratuity money can be seen by entering case number 2005 CF 000161 S in the Okaloosa County court clerk's site at:

http://www.clerkofcourts.cc/court/courtsearch.htm

The thief was arrested by the Okaloosa County Sheriff''s office on 32 felony charges for numerous swindles, frauds and threatening of witnesses but she beat all 32 felony charges without going to trial through her filing of an unprecedented amount of frivolous pre-trial objections, motions and depositions that wore down the Okaloosa County Court, victims and witnesses.

The Sheriff's press release on the arrest of this thief and her photo can be seen at:

http://www.sheriff-okaloosa.org/Press%20Releases%202004/NR11182004B.htm

How does a swindler and operator of 2 houses of prostitution beat all 32 felony charges in Okaloosa County court without going to trial? Were the numerous victims and witnesses all liars? Did the Okaloosa County Sheriff's office who worked hard to collect evidence and arrest the thief make 32 mistakes? Certainly not! One need not be a scientist to realize that something is not right in the Okaloosa County courts.

It is a very sad day for our troops and their families that the Okaloosa County court has given a swindler and operator of houses of prostitution precedence over a highly respected fallen war hero. Something is very wrong as the thief that stole Captain John E. Tipton's death gratuity money has been quoted as bragging that Okaloosa County judges fear her and that she (apparently) rules the Okaloosa County Courts.

A Federal Court report on this thief, her operating 2 houses of prostitution and her presenting of falsified evidence can be seen on pages 3, 19 & 72 at: http://ustaxcourt.gov/InOpHistoric/Pappas.TCM.WPD.PDF

The thief that stole Captain John E. Tipton's death gratuity money currently resides in a very expensive home that is under FBI lien for having being purchased with stolen money by her cohort who is being investigated by the FBI for perpetrating a $20,000,000 investment fraud in Portland, Oregon. A report on the FBI investigation can be seen at:

Captain John E. Tipton who so unselfishly gave his life for our country, must be rolling in his grave knowing that his death gratuity money was stolen from his family, will not go towards the education of his children and that the thief who stole it was allowed to get away with the crime by the Okaloosa County Court.

Captain John E. Tipton 32, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was the commander of Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. He was killed by an explosion while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq.

W. Sherman.
