I am so sorry that you had to go through this type of behavior. The sad thing is that District Manager Ray Clark conducts business in this fashion. I am a former employee of his from another company, Music Net, where he was "Vice President of Operations." He rules over his employees with fear tactics. You are never certain if you will be fired on a whim. I was not fired. He ran the store, and most of the company, into the ground with his business abilities. The way you were treated is the way that he would behave as well. Most people would see this as just another "disgruntled former employee," but I truly loved the store that I was the manager of. It sickened me to see how he took a quality music store and turned it into a joke of a flea market. What I am getting at is that if you haven't gotten a reply from him, and I realize that it has been a while since you posted, you probably won't ever. Sadly, as you try to go up the chain of command, you will find that you are "dismissed" because he has a way of convincing his bosses that he is right, and you are wrong. I put my real name on here because I am not afraid of him. I am free from his terror, and he can not hurt me anymore. I would keep trying to reach the corporate offices. Maybe, just maybe, someone will finally listen and put him out on the street with a ruined reputation like I have seen and heard him do to so many other people.

The reason you did not get a call back from corp is because you called the wrong number. When you finally did get through, you were not willing to give your phone number. You did not leave any messages for anyone at corporate. On a check with the store, you appaently had used the merchandise, which is not returnable, thats in the return policy. You were not blamed for missing pieces
Your personal comments about the employees are completely uncalled for. The store indicates that you were not blamed for missing pieces, your merchandise had been used and therefore was non refundable. The store also indicates that the comforters were in poor condition as well as the towels and therefore did not qualify for a refund.
The manager did not have plastic wrist restraints in her pocket, those were zip ties for labeling merchandise, so you are wrong about the wrist restraints. "She/He", that was cheap shot on your part.
You were in the store for an extended period of time, the store indicates that you were there for about 2 hrs after which you were asked to leave the store for causing a scene.
Again, you called the wrong number for corporate.
The company had made the decision to work with you just before finding your comments on line. "He/She", "wrist restraints", "Hardcore rednecks", "they will lie to you while taking your money"
FYI, you are the first in Destin that the company has had a problem with for a refund since the store opened. Over 2.5 million shoppers have shopped the store.
