I purchased 2 of these units, one went bad and the company sent me a new one without question. I will admit they are slow with contacts and response time they were however very easy to deal with once I got to talk to George. He called personally and before I made my purchase was even willing to discuss things like company solvency and future support. All of his claims were valid and the company is still in business 3 years later. As for the original poster claim that they are just an ebay driven company I know this to not be true as I have seen them at trade shows and you can order direct from the company. If you check e-bay you will also find bosch reehm and all of the other competing suppliers there as well selling their similar products. I have sereral pruducts by several manufactures installed in my projects and these stand equal to all of them.

We follow up on every and all calls for service in or out of the warranty. Sometime despise our actions there are some instances when we simply can not help by phone. One reason is that some symptom is missed by owner or even avoided on purpose, or that the owner is incapable to follow our request and instructions for one reason or another. This owner never sent the unit in and based in what he actually reported we where not been able to repair his unit by phone or emails. Warranty procedures where and are not followed. If we have the unit in we can see what the problem is. Also i believe that this is a good forum to point up another angle to this: We manufacture 32.000 units OME 514 regular an 14500 ZP. The industry complain rate is 2% . That will make a grand total of 930 cases of issues with the units who'd have to be a good record. As of today 11/4/2007 we have a grand total of 32 complains of wich 19 where fix by emails and telephones (some with parts augmentation!) Out of those registered complaints 43% were caused by shipping damages and 14% by mistakes in installation. The rest are even undetermined or equipment fault. 0 Voluntary recalls 0 forced recalls 0 legal actions by consumer protection agencies or any state or federal entity 0 legal private liability issues or law suits .
