Omega Meats Don't Let Salesman In but Office Staff Are Helpful Greenville, South Carolina
Two salesmen from Omega Meats, Greenville, SC came to my 91 year old mother's home and before she knew what had happened, they filled the small freezer compartment of her refrigerator with meat, told her she owed them $429, and she wrote a check, made out to one of the salesmen.
When family found out what had happened, they took her to her bank the next day but the check had already been cashed. Then they called the phone number on the receipt to say she didn't want the meat. Catherine at the Greenville office was very pleasant and said to contact Rose at the North Carolina corporate office. Rose was extremely helpful. My mother's bank faxed the endorsed check to Rose and she refunded the total amount. Within several days after the purchase the refund was deposited into her checking account. A nice man came to my mother's house and picked up the meat. Great customer service from both the Greenville office and the NC corporate office! It took several calls and determination but the effort was worth it. The salesmen are another story! To cancel your order, BE SURE TO CONTACT THEM WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR PURCHASE!
