DO NOT USE OMEGA RELOCATIONS. !!! CONSTANT BATTLES ABOUT PRICE. LIES ABOUT SERVICE AND DELIVERY TIMES. SWEET TALKING ALISA, ALL ABOUT THE SALE! WE MOVED WITH THEM FROM USA TO FRANCE. THEIR CHOSEN FRENCH AGENT BAILLY WAS ALO VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH. OVERCHARGED. TO BE FAIR THE PACKING CREW IN USA WAS VERY GOOD, AND UNLOADING CREW IN FRANCE WAS ALSO VERY GOOD. ONE ITEM WAS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING, AND THEY REFUSED TO COVER IT OR MAKE A DONATION TO REPLACE IT. THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THEIR INSURANCE (WITH A $250 DEDUCTIBLE) - AND THAT INSURANCE WOULD HAVE BEEN AT A HIGHER COST THAN REPLACING MY DAMAGED ITEM. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE BEING "SWEET TALKED" BY ALISA INTO CONTRACTING WITH OMEGA RELOCATIONS.

Subject: RE: Ref. LATIMER / Your move to St Julia - France
Dear Mr & Ms Latimer,
Apologies for delay in coming back to you, I was on vacation.
I have asked several times when you could receive your shipment.
On 18 Sept. I mentioned vessel was expected the day after explaining container haulage and delivery team should be booked well in advance in order to match you required delivery date once known.
You then asked if we could deliver on Saturday 30th but movers do not work on week end.
On 19 Sept. I gave you the breakdown of charges for demurrage and storage and informed there were terminal and transporters strikes forecasted.
You then asked delivery on Oct. 2nd.
There was no availability for Oct. 2nd so we proposed Oct. 3rd.
So you asked delivery on sept. 29th but this date was not available.
We agree you are not accountable for social movements, busy planning or week end break but we are not as well. This is an unfortunate combination of factors and we deeply regret it as we always try to serve our partners and clients and in the best possible way.
In a spirit of goodwill we offer to take in charge the last day of port storage € 16,00 and demurrage € 45,00. The difference can be settled to our foreman on day of delivery.
Kind regards
Martine Fournier

Alisa is a stranger to the truth. We gave several dates for delivery of my container ..September 28, September 29, October 2nd. (No crew available in France on these dates) and September 30 ((crew does not work on Saturday) ...so Alisa offered nothing like she states. Her French partner Bailly agreed the only date available was October 3rd. And we paid to store the stiff because they could not deliver. That is the real story. And Alisa lies about the damaged bedside cabinet. I wanted it replaced because it could not be repaired. And bedside cabinets come in pairs . .one each side of the bed normally! So it would be helpful to have a matching pair. So Alisa's report is false. Again, do not use Omega Relocations. They lie to you.

Dear Readers
My name is Alisa Bazar and I am the representative that handled this relocation to France. I have read the clents comments and remarks and they are completely false !!! We handled his shipment in the most professional and honorable manner. The price quoted was exactly what we billed him for. He neglected to mention that he was not ready to accept his delivery and his 20 foot container sat at the port in France incurring demmurages and port storage penalites.
His shipmet arrived in France as Scheduled. He was informed that soon after custom clearancess that we would proceed with delivering the shipment. He informed us that he was not ready to accept the shipment on the date provided. We offered him 4 different delivery dates and explained to him that the longer the shipment sat at the port that he would be subject to penalties and that he had to accpet a delivery. Please note that I do have all the correspondeces goig back and forth and would be more that happy to present to anyone with any doubts.
Upon deliver of shipment the Client "Glenn Latimer"wrote me an email thanking me for the Great service and further commented that both the U.S teams and French team were "EXCELLENT" he did mentioned that one of his items (bedroom night stand) had suffered some damage i transit. I told him that we would help him file a claim.
I was then informed by my claim dept that he had rejected purchasing Marine insurance. I explaied to him that becuse he did not purchase insurance that he could not file a claim. Although we were not obligated or liable but for the sake of making him happy and as a gesture I offered to have the items repaired and asked him to please get an estimate of repair. This was not to his satiisfaction ad wanted the item replaced and stated that because the replacement was not an exact match to the rest of the bedorrom furniture that he now wanted all the bedroom furntiure replaced. I politley told him that he is being unreasonable and that they would not replace his bedroom furniture. After we refused to buy him a new night stand and bedroom set - the client unfortuantely became very aggressive and insulting and threatened to wite a bad review if we did not comply with his demands.. I...... hence the reason for my rebuttle.
My dear readers, should you ever decide to ship your items overseas - No matter how professionaly items are packed and loaded ad handled there is always a risk of damage. All shipping companies offer All Risk Marine Insurance - One can not force a client to buy insurance, but in situations as these - Insurance does service it's purpose. Insurace premiums ae very reasoable - This particual client did not see the purpose in buying insurance.
Below are the email exchanges with the client - I have never had to defend myself in the past but I feel it is unfair that one can post false claims online on a site such as this one My reputation is extremely mportant to me ! This why I am posting our email exchanges.
Martine, Alex and AlisaThe crew this morning from Toulouse were very good and worked very well. Also the packing by the USA crew was excellent ..except for one broken item in transit, a bedside cabinet Please see photos attached.Item 23 ..broken on the edge. And an original photo pre-shipping.So previously we had a pair of bedside cabinets. Now only one cabinet that we can use. Please advise the insurance procedure to cover this damage.RegardsGlenn Latimer and Stefanija Vilniute

to Janet, me, StefanijaJanetComplete nonsense. Your packers. Your transit. Your responsibility. Why would I have paid insurance with probably a big deductible, for something valued below the cost of the proposed insurance? I am already fed up with the scheming additional costs in France.Anyway, it is your reputation at Omega Relocations. Normally I would have assumed you would like favorable reviews rather than creating animosity over one damaged bedside cabinet. You should know I am very strong on principles. Like a dog with a bone. I don't let go.So it is your choice. Cover my small damages, or create a hostile customer?RegardsGlenn Latimer-------- Original message --------From: Alisa Bazar <[email protected]>Date: 10/3/17 4:46 PM (GMT+01:00)To: glennlat <glennlat@>Subject: Re: Ref. LATIMER / Your move to St Julia - FranceHi GlennI understand what you are saying but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. This is freight. There is always a risk of damageas items are stacked and compressed in container. This is why we offer all risk insurance - In this case you are correct, the deductible of $250 is probably higher than the cost of repair. It looks like a minor damage. Please get an estimate for repair. I will speak to my manager and see if we can help.

to glennlat, Yigal, JanetGlennThey are not going to replace your furniture. I may have been able to squeeze out a repair as a gesture but they certainly will not replace the item.I sure do wish you would have purchased insurance as it does serves its purpose in these situations . As professionally as things are packed and loaded there is always a risk of damage. In your case it was the one item which I feel terrible about but my hands are tied.I did offer you Insurance multiple times of which you declined. Furthermore your shipping agreement clearly states "In Red" right above your signature that you must have all risk door to door marine insurance while in transit and in storage and that we will not assume any responsibilityI am happy to request assistance with repairing the item as good faith and as a courtesy. So if you can find a carpenter in your area that can repair the item within a reasonable cost , please send me a copy of the estimate and I am happy to pass it on to my customer service.Alisa
