On the date of May 15th, 2015 at approximately 11:55 am, my vehicle was left in the care of a One Parking, Inc. employee to Valet park in the parking lot at their Miami Beach location – 237  20th St. Miami Beach, FL 33139. The attendant that greeted me handed me a ticket that had no indication of damage on my vehicle (he did not even do a walk around). When I returned to the lot at approximately 2:50 pm I paid $26.00 for my vehicle. I then paid $26.00 for my co-workers vehicle. My co-workers vehicle was brought down and several additional vehicles were brought down as I wait for my vehicle to arrive.

I began to wonder why multiple other vehicles were delivered before my vehicle which was paid for before the other vehicles. When my vehicle finally arrived the driver, Derrick, stopped several car lengths before the payment booth. I found this strange because previous vehicles were pulled all of the way down to the booth.  Derrick wanted me to walk in front of my vehicle to take possession. This made me suspicious so I headed toward the back of the vehicle to perform an inspection. I immediately noticed that the Bumper was damaged and large loose paint chips were still sitting on the bumper. I immediately requested a manager to inspect the damage. Nelson Lencina came over and immediately stated “that damage looks old”. I showed him that large loose flakes of paint were still sitting on the bumper. He then pulled out my claim ticket and proceeded to tell me that the damage was noted on my ticket. They insisted on taking my claim ticket when they retrieved my car. They were in possession of the ticket for 20 minutes. When they returned with my car they tried to tell me that the damage was noted on the ticket.

This was a blatant attempt to lie and cover up damage caused by a One Parking employee. Had this simply been an accident that was professionally handled I may have simply filed a claim with my insurance company. However, this was an orchestrated cover up by One Parking employees to lie about causing the damage and then doctor the parking ticket to place blame on me for the damage. Fortunately, these individuals did not have the foresight to wipe off the loose paint chips during their cover up. I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT PARK IN ONE PARKING GARAGES. When they damage your vehicle they will lie to cover up their negligence and will not respond to your request to resolve the issue.

I requested a refund of my $ 26.00 and the manager, Nelson Lencina, had the nerve to scoff at me and say "Sorry, No Refunds". They caused $ 500.00 of damage to my vehicle and refused to refund my $26.00.

I have sent a Notarized letter Certified Mail requesting resolution of this matter and they have ignored my request.

Standard Operating Procedure at ONE PARKING is to IGNORE the Customers after they cause damage to their customers vehicle. They cover for their Dishonest Employees who are likely Trained to Place Blame on their Customers.

- DO NOT PARK AT ONE PARKING - PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK - VEHICLE OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES CAUSED BY ONE PARKING EMPLOYEES !!!!!!!!
