ONE STOP CARPET OWNER ABEL GUTIERREZ UNPROFESSIONAL LOOKED LIKED CONVICTS LANGUAGE WAS HORRIBLE Selma California
This individual has a white van, dented in back, with One Stop Carpet Painted on the Sides.I called him to have my carpets cleaned. He arrived with two other individuals and they all looked like they had just been released from prison. Covered in tatoos, one had tatoos even on his neck and face.
It frightened me I didn't care fore their manner either, not friendly at all but they all seemed guarded. I felt that they were disappointed I was going to remain while they did the carpets.I felt very uncomfortable and would not have dreamed of leaving them in my home if I had not been there.
I heard them talking amongst themselves and it was vulgar, laced with filthy language and gang slang. I had never been so glad to have these individuals out of my home and actually hated the fact that they knew where I lived. They didn't even do a good job on my carpets, it was not a thorough cleaning. When I went to pay the owner Abel Gutierrez, I was writing a check, he asked me for Cash instead.
I said I'm very sorry but I don't have the cash , are you saying I can't write a check, he hesitated and said they really prefer cash and I held my ground and said you did not say that when I made the appt. and I'm sorry but you will have to take a check. To be honest I did have the cash but I wasn't walking into my bedroom and getting it, not with these guys..thats all they would have needed to see. I kid you not they were SCARY!
I have since found out that the owner Abel Gutierrez has a long criminal history of drug sales He has served many years in prison.I wish the best for all people who are trying and who have truly reformed. But the mannerisms and the attitude, as well as the actions of this individual leave much to be desired
Please be cautious of this person and his Business, its not worth the aggravation or the stress that he will put on you while he is in your home.

I had the same experience with One Stop Carpet. The owner Abel along with his "helpers" look like they just got sprung from prison. I don't mean that in a discriminatory way at all. Except to say come on,,,your running a business, you are going into people's homes..don't look like a criminal or act like one with your vulgar vocabulary and your tatoos on your neck (his helper is scary..)I used him two years ago and he did a great job..I'm from Selma and at the time he had the sweetest girlfriend , she is well known in our community..he was going in the right direction but now? Whatever has changed him I warn all unsuspecting ladies especially, that live alone..hire someone else..you don't want this guy to know where you live..
