ONE WORLD VAN LINES in Austin Texas (Owner Ibrahim Alzaatreh) is one of the WORST RIP OFF MOVING companies ever!!
They quoted me on a move from the Austin area to southern California to move my typical 3 bedroom house $ 2100. I went with them because they seemed to have a good rating online and with the BBB. What a MISTAKE that was!! One my moving day they called me 3 hours LATE to reschedule me for the next day with some lame excuse. Since I didn't have any other options and needed to be out of my place asap due to a closing, I agreed.
They finally showed up the next day LATE again and started the job. Before they even finished wrapping the first piece of furniture, which by the way, they damamged so badly that it cannot be fixed, the price of my move TRIPLED!! They claimed I had excess items (although my list was EXTREMELY accurate) and a lot of packing to be done. The only thing that needed special attention was a small mirror which was only 20 inches by 30 inches and would have easily fit into a regular mirror box.
The guys worked very slowly and took MANY cigarette breaks!! They did not do a satisfactory job of protecting my things and we had so MANY damages!! To add insult to injury, my wife heard the guys making references to their jail time, which completely freaked her out and made both of us question the integrity of the people who were handling our possessions. But again, since we were under time constraints, we let them finish the job which we were expecting to be delivered 4 days later as promised.
Once the guys left our job, we did not hear from the company again. We called about our delivery for over 2 weeks with no response. FINALLY, we got a call that our things would arrive 5 days later. When we asked about why the delay, Geoff in the office said they could not find a driver going to our area. All we wanted to do was get our things and get on with our lives. We were without our things for over 3 weeks, paid 3 times what was quoted for the move and when our things finally DID arrive, we had over $2000 in damages and MISSING items!
I am not sure how they got the good reviews that they do have out there because these guys are horrendous!! They rip people off, do NOT background check their employees (or do not care) as stated, and do not honor deliveries as promised. Under NO circumstances should anyone use this company for ANY move unless you want to be ripped off with nothing but broken items and missing things!!

MOVING ESTIMATE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED OFF WHAT IS ACTUALY BEING MOVED. HOWEVER, THIS POSTER DOES NOT FIT OUR PROTOCOL BECAUSE ALL CHANGES TO A MOVING ESTIMATE ARE REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW TO BE DISCLOSED TO THE CUSTOMER PRIOR TO THEIR SHIPMENT EVER BEING LOADED AT THE PICKUP LOCATION.
THIS REVIEW FITS THE DESCRIPTION OF A FORMER EMPLOYEE THAT GOES BY JOSH GAMALERO/JOHN GAMIL, WHICH I JUST FOUND OUT HIS REAL NAME OF JOSH GAMALI, WHEN HIS BACKGROUND REPORT FINALY CAME BACK. HE WAS HIRED ON TO BE AN OUTSIDE ESTIMATOR, HIM AND HIS WIFE TAMI CORDERO LIED, STOLE AND MINIPULATED SERVERAL OF MY CUSTOMERS WITHIN A MATTER OF 10 DAYS OF BEING HIRED. THESE GUYS ARE BAD NEWS ANYWAY YOU LOOK AT IT. IF ANY CONSUMERS HEAR FROM THIS GUY PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORATIES, HE IS A THEIF THAT HAS STOLE OVER $1500 FROM MY COMPANY.
