After I attended their "Internet Marketing Workshop" at the Holiday Inn (I didn't eat the free dinner so I don't know what it was -- apparently it would not have been much from the other reports I read!), I went back to my office right next door and did a search on Storesonline, Inc. I had done a previous online check on the presenter of the seminar and found out he was on radio etc. looking like he might be a marketing expert. But I had found nothing on the company. Little did I know.
So when all this bad business and ripoff alerts came up onscreen, I was unpleasantly surprised. I must have had misspelled it the first time I tried to investigate its background.
I had paid $20 to "reserve my place" at the all day seminar where the next rip off of $2440? would take place -- that is, one had to pay this amount for the "services" to go on to the Net and make all the money (Yeah right!). The hard sell is they don't let you leave without making up your mind.
I immediately called their company today to ask for a refund only to get a long wait and a message indicating I had to go online to "quickresponse.com?" or some such website. I am calling my credit card company to complain and get my every cent back, even if it was only one cent.
I feel sorry for the rest of the group and other innocents who who will attend the seminar. I feel like going there and handing out all the printed alerts, BBB warnings, and news reports about the legal cases and complaints. I hate companies like this and want them out of business. Jerks!!!! They ought to be jailed, not just sued.
I certainly would never had attended if I knew all these reports and I am sure no one else would. To me they are dangerous and give a BAD name to the Internet. They are just some cheap cheats out to make a buck. They are hurting people who are giving away their hard earned money to them. May they rot in jail and they will, if we all unite to put their crooked behinds there.
