Well The page I'm responding to is all anyone needs to know about the TigerDirect/Onrebate conspiracy. I have just called Onrebate and as if a red light just turned green my complaint was heard and my $100 rebate was approved. This after first getting an email of denial claiming no UPC had been sent.

After responding by email I was told to respond by phone, and when I called their circuits were overloaded and then later that day their computers were down. Today I talked to someone just long enough to say that we most certainly did include the UPC. Then without hesitation she just said "OK, I'm approving it right now, thanx and goodbye."

This is a subtle yet complex scam that has simple motives. Tiger Direct is using shady and unfair business practices while hiding behind the mask of Onrebate.com. The only reason Tiger Direct bought that stupid company was so there company could go on looking sqeaky clean while this other rebate company played the bad guy. All you gotta do is google this; "Tiger Direct reviews complaints" and then google this; "onrebate reviews complaints".

You will see very clearly how onrebate might as well be run from the Tiger Direct PR department. In fact, I'd be willing to bet my $100 rebate that when they write their rebuttle it will be on the clock. Customers complain on their own time, all these corporate rebuttles are just valient efforts at job security.

It is important to also notice that the customers who offer rebuttles all say that they jumped many hurdles and then were finally ok'd, very consistant. I honestly dont think my struggle is over, from all my research I'm guessing I'll hafta write more emails and make more calls if I'm ever gonna see that rebate. My advice to TigerDirect customers is 'don't bite the re-baited hook'. Rebates are for suckers, 90% of them are never honered.
