Onrebate.com Rebate Ripoff Fraud Boca Raton Florida
Denied $17 rebate because I moved. The address on the invoice was my old home and the address I moved to is the address I used for the rebate, when this was explained to the onrebate representative she said "well people do fraud so we must have matching addresses" I said "go through all the trouble in devising a scheme for $17?" and she had nothing to say, the only party involved in fraud is onrebate.com..
this rebate was for an Ultra X-Finity 500 watt power supply bought at radioshack, it was a $20 rebate, but if you didn't want to wait 10 weeks for a check you can allow them to subtract $2.50 and they will send you the check in the normal amount of time it takes everyone else to send a check.
All requirements were fulfilled, the only thing that did not match was the onvoice address and the address used on the rebate form.
WARNING: Do not move in the process of a rebate with onrebate, they will deny you. This is the only company I have ever heard of that does this.
This must be how they make their money. The Florida state attorney general really needs to go after these people like the NY state attorney general does.
