Be warned by my experience and that of some others: Do not do business with OPAD/O-Lighting! I can only assume it is a scam company.   I ordered a piece of furniture in October 2014.  My credit card was charged at the same time (almost $1,200) and the item was to be delivered in 4-6 weeks.  I was repeatedly told by Jose Corea that: it is on a ship from Italy, it will be delivered in a week, it is being held for my authorizing its shipment, it is in customs awaiting clearance, it is in the warehouse, we don’t have it yet (April 1995). We agreed to cancel the order. After many phone calls asking for the refund, in June Corea confirmed he would have the credit issued within 48 hours.   It has never been issued. 

The company did not respond to letters from the NY Consumer Protection Division.  AMEX Platinum Card issued me a temporary credit in August 1995, saying it also never received a response from the company.    Never a word from OPAD/O-Lighting.
