Opticom ripoff Carmel Indiana
Called this company OPTICOM Saturday 5/14/05 at 8pm thinking it was 1-800-call-ATT. Wasn't AT&T. Asked the operator for the rate to call from Los Angeles to Phoenix using my credit card. The operator was specifically informed not to place the call until giving me the rate. He stated he would need my credit card number first which I gave him. He proceeded to place call without giving me the $31.88 price/rate for the 1 minute call to Phoenix. Called back to tell them this was a rip-off and got no where. Called Monday 5/16/05 to speak with supervisor after waiting 3 hours to get through and got no where. Was billed $31.88 for a call I did not authorize and I can do nothing about it.
Quickest biggest scam I have ever seen. The operator was specifically informed not to place the call until giving me the rate, which he agreed to do but lied and placed the call without my authorization. Im pissed.
