I moved from New York to Florida on November 23,2019. On November 25 I cancelled my service with Optimum and my relatives returned equipment on November 30,2019. My billing cycle starts on 22 of the month and ends on the 21 of the following month.
Cable vision have never had cancellation fees before. When we discussed our service in April 2019 with representative, he did not informed us that Optimum Cable Vision was bought by Altice USA and cancellation rules changed. In addition before Optimum installed at our home Altice equipment no one told us about new cancellation rules.
Now Optimum demends payment for December 2019 in the amount of $173.66, for the time when the service have not been provided.
Optimum Altice is fraudulent company, avoid dealing with them.
