This company is unbelieveable! The exact same thing happened to me when I signed up on Dec. 3, 2010. And, no, there were no internet hits at the time about these con-artists.
What I fail to understand is why they don't feel like they have to change their phone number, even today after being exposed. And why they went to the trouble of reassuring me of my continued employment after the X-mas season, eventhough contact at that point was unecessary because I had none of their packages in my possession. Truly amazing.
Had I known, I would have kept all of the laptops, expensive clothing, and electronics for myself. What could they do about it? I'm just far too honest and trusting of a person to do that. Lucky for them, too bad for me. Jerks.
